The hotel was exactly the way we saw on the picture. We Will definitely go back to the hotel.The service is excelent. Overall its a very confortable pousada. A nice place to spend and chill during the afternoon.

I chose the pousada for 1) its location, 2) the rate, 3) the likelihood of more Brazilian clients (i.e., away from the hyped-up resort type of pousadas), and 4) the reviews. The reviews mostly praised the friendliness of the staff. That was definitely a selling point. I could not agree more. The staff is excellent throughout the entire facility: polite, willing to help immediately, has a good sense of humor, and always smiles. Plus, the pousada was quiet at night for a relaxing sleep.

Barbara and her staff made it so wonderful, forthcoming, and warm, that the pousada became our home in Buzios. She was also very kind to me- helping me out with a great and unexpected challenge I had encountered during the trip. The pousada is open, airy, filled with plants. Quiet, peaceful, and just a joy. Breakfasts were abundant and delicious. My 7 yo daughter and I were so comfortable, that sometimes we had to force ourselves to leave, in spite of being a block away from the beach.
