I would rate it 11 if I could. A spacious villa uphill in the quiet countryside of Switzerland with everything a family needs. A massive garden overlooks the village with swings for children to play. The beds are so comfy that we almost fell asleep immediately. Clean everywhere. A lot of options for breakfast, even some homemade products. 3 bathrooms and toilets for the guests! One of the bathroom has a big bath tub. We only stayed 1 night so didn't have time to use it. The property has 2 floors and the land lady slept in an extended part on the ground floor. She took care of us and cleaned the table and kitchen after our dinner and breakfast. At first I felt a little awkward that the land lord was around. But she is so friendly and kind that you almost feel you are served by a caring mother and a granny of my kids. She couldn't speak English very well but still made the effort to chat with us using Google Translate. My wife and kids had been afraid of dogs for a long time due to negative experience from before, but her dog "Mo" gave us a calm and friendly feeling that my kids started to play with it the next morning. On our departure she gave us a full bag of food including home-made jams and bread to eat on our way home. What a hospitality! We feel home here and will never forget such a warm-hearted land lady!

A charming place in the middle of Bern's embassy district. Friendly welcome, personal touch with a few fruits and coffee. Absolutely perfect.

Nice and comfortable room, Staff very kind and helpful, quiet place, easy to park. It was perfect.

It was in a great location. The host were very nice and their breakfast was extremely good! It was easy walk to the train and plenty to do around Thun. All the stuff was within walking distance

A secluded & idyllic place. The host is a very nice person. You might need a car to get there.

Very Unique stay, converted iron ore silo. Staff was fantastic and accomadating. We actually wish we had arived a little earlier as we would have gone on one of the mine tours in the little train, but thats on us, we could not make an earlier arrival possible.

Property is near food and shops with convenient parking.

Very clean, great breakfast, amazing setting (800 yr old castle in the gorgeous Emmental hills & farms). We walked to the Trachelwald Castle (and up the steep steps inside the prison tower) fascinating history!

Christine & Marc were great hosts and the condo was wonderfully appointed. Everything we needed & more. Hope to stay again.
