I was there for a couple of nights. The place was clean, with towels and a private toilet. It was easy to get there and the person who was in charge was really nice and kind. Extra nice thing, they have tea or coffee in the morning and evening (for the "once"). Also they have jelly and eggs if we want to use them for free. We only had to get our own bread.

Sandrita's hostal is far beyond any hostal or B&B experience. I loved this cute house, Sandrita's and her partner hospitality and care for each and single guest's wellbeing, from hearthy breakfasts adjusted to any dietary restriction to customized travel tips. I met very nice group of people at this hostal and our shared evenings in the warm and cozy kitchen full of eucalyptus scents were like spending time with you friends and family, and will deeply stay in memory. Lovely hostel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the kitchen - big, homey, and filled with everything you need to cook. The staff wonderful - helpful, patient, and kind! The hostel arranged a penguin tour and kayaking tour for me - both a lot of fun. The hostel is located right across the street from Bus Sur Station so if you are planning to travel here by bus from Castro or Puerto Montt, take Bus Sur! It's alos located just a few blocks from the shore and from many restaurants, supermarket, and cafes.

The location was perfect, very close to the ETM bus station and right in the center so you can walk everywhere. The host, Antonella, was very friendly and helpful, and the house is very unique, art work can be found everywhere.

In Castro, an overcrowded town with no parking and extreme congestion, this property has a ideal location - on a dead end with private parking and a direct view of the water. Very peaceful. Comfy bed, nice kitchen area (shared, but there are few guests), and a good spot for walking to palafitos and restaurants. Very nice hosts.
