Each morning breakfast was served at your table (no buffet) beginning at 8:30am--take note if you have a tour booked earlier. Breakfast consisted of warm rolls, breakfast meat/cheese, butter, coffee or tea. On different days there were also bananas or tomato, sweet bread or crackers. There is a kitchen and refrigerator where guests can put their items. There is a small mini-market two blocks away where we bought additional yogurts and juice to accompany our breakfast. Everything was very clean and comfortable and wifi was strong.

We enjoyed our stay at Kahina Lodge. Yarela picked us up from the airport and checked us in. The property is quite pretty. The shared kitchen was down the hall from our room which was near the washing machine. There was a drying rack in our room. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and a bigger grocery store named Henua Market around the corner. The artisanal markets can be found down the street. Although we struggled with communicating in Spanish, Yarela is very sweet and always responsive. When leaving Rapa Nui, she took us back to the airport and helped with our heavy luggage. Both women who run this hostel are great. We highly recommend Kahina Lodge.

The Staff was really nice and the facilities were cleaned every day. The location is perfect and once we had a Tsunami Warning but the hostel immediatly contacted us and told us what to do and were always really transparent.

We really loved our stay at the hostal that really is more like Hotel. We stayed at a private bungalow with AC. Sofia and Jose are more than hosts. They really go out of their way to help and accommodate their guests. They also helped us with tons of 3rd party services, like car rentals, and tours. They breakfast was also really good Highly recommended!

Very good location in a calm and clean space. Very hospitality staff, very helpful and kind. We didn’t think about nothing. They helped us with everything. Yolanda is very nice, kind and 24/7 ready for help. She cooks soooooo delicious breakfast. Very fresh and healthy. Vey good location near the market and Main Street.
