Violette is an exceptional host with a true passion for what she does. She explained to us that, together with her husband, they spent five years renovating this traditional Savoyard farmhouse to create an idyllic and peaceful retreat. Our room, with a king-size bed, was spacious, clean and inviting. The bathroom was large and functional, and a huge window offered a calming view of the pastures, adding a perfect sense of tranquility. Breakfast was both delicious and generous, with Violette serving local specialties, cheeses, homemade cakes, and jams made from fruit grown on the property. Her kindness, wit, and infectious laughter make her truly delightful—a little piece of heaven in the heart of the French countryside.

Setting was beautiful. The hosts were charming. The food was delicious. Be sure to get the dinner if you are offered that choice. It is a guest house so there may be other guests in the common area but that is a great opportunity to meet people from other countries.
