The place is extremely quiet, everyone is friendly and supportive on whatever you need, especially the director. The location is near the temples and sunrise view points. The breakfast is very generous and delicious (you can order from the breakfast menu). Also the restaurant is high quality for a very convenient price and you have a nice view to the river. The bungalow is very comfortable as well as the bed. They staff clean the room very well.

This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

Staff and owner are amazing and helpful. They are very friendly and considerate. They will give you tips to enjoy your travel as well. Room is spacious and very comfortable unlike most hostels where they are crowded. The place is very safe and guarded. Location is great, you can walk to amazing restaurants and bars. Everything in my stay was great. Highly recommended

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The host and family were very friendly and helpful. Very close to Borobudur. The host helped with an early morning ride to go get tickets and also had bikes to get to and from the temple. Siska even told us how much it would cost to park the bicycles which was extremely helpful when bartering with the attendant. We still paid tourist prices but it wasn’t nearly as bad as it could’ve been. She also assisted us with organizing our visit to Prambanan and onward, as well as provided us some options for seeing the rest of the sites we wanted to on Java. The food was delicious, the bed comfy and the location perfect. We would stay again.

If you want peace and quiet, and the feeling of close with the nature, this is the place for you. The place has everything, from the friendly and helpful staff to the sounds and smells of nature. We had a mixed feeling about the location. It’s relatively close to the Tegalluar Whoosh train station (around 30 mins by car) but quite far from the city center or Dago or Lembang area. If you want to see Bandung too, maybe it’s best to stay in two different places because it’s just more convenient. All the photos are representative of the reality. While the place is quite far from restaurants, it actually offers decent and rather affordable food and beverages. All made with TLC. Value for money was also excellent.

From the beginning, staff was hospitable. They assisted us in finding a tour driver and helping us get train tickets to the airport. The property and room was clean and beautiful. Not only did they serve authentic Indonesian food for breakfast but it was also delicious. And it was a different menu each day. Would diffently stay at this property again.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Banyuwangi, Mocca Guest House is a guest house surrounded by views of the quiet street.
