This is one of the few places that warrants 10/10. Saralyn and her mother were exceptionally kind. They even packed a breakfast for me, since I had a very early departure. The Inn is beautifully decorated and very cosy, with homemade cookies and food available all the time. It is situated one block from the main historic street. There is a lot to see in this little town. It is under 30 minutes from Reno.

Our cabin was absolutely amazing! It was spacious, spotless, and felt incredibly private—perfect for our family of four. The beds were large and very comfortable, and we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. We loved everything about it and were genuinely sad to leave. Breakfast each morning was homemade and absolutely delicious, with a different menu on both days. It was such a lovely touch and really added to the charm of our stay. The hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming—we really enjoyed chatting with her. The location was ideal, just minutes from Cathedral Gorge State Park. One thing to note: dining options in the evening are limited, with restaurants closing quite early and located at least 15 minutes away, so plan ahead. All in all, a fantastic stay—we can’t recommend it enough!

i absolutely loved everything about this place. i felt at home right away and i think that’s what Jennifer and Nigel try to achieve, make everybody feel welcome and treat them like family. after check-in i got a glass of wine and the hosts and all the other guests sat down on the front porch and we just enjoyed the evening and had a great time. in the morning we all had breakfast together and it was so delicious. the room was also perfect, big comfortable bed, nice shower and a bathtub. i’m so happy i found Jennifer and Nigel’s place. i had a really good stay. and i also recommend their place. it’s just about 2 hours outside of Las Vegas. hope to see you again :)
