The boat completely exceeded our expectations, it has a really chill homey vibe, it's quiet and pretty compact, but it has everything you need. Breakfast was really really good, the coffee was amazing. Gave me a chance to recharge and talk to some pretty cool people, including the host. We loved the location, so close to everything. We also love the fact that we could have our food in the lounge that we bought at the supermarket. The breakfast was delicious and very filling lots of variety. The beds were small, but comfortable for one or two nights.

AmicitiA is a really nice MOVING boat where you should definitely stay if you want your Amsterdam experience to be complete. Patrick is really nice and friendly and helpful. We were afraid about the trip from Amsterdam Oosterdock (near the train station and NEMO museum where the boat is usually moored) to Zandaam, but this turned out to be a big highlight of our trip. Otherwise, I don't think we would have had the experience of taking boat trip and definitely we wouldn't have visited Zaanse Schans (an absolutely picturesque open-air museum packed with windmills and artisanal workshops in the framework of beautiful nature). The breakfast on Amicitia is something we will remember for a long time. It's the best feeling to eat your ham and cheese sandwich and drink your coffee with such a view.

Located in central Amsterdam, the boat hostel Vita Nova is 0.6 mi from Central Station. It is next to the Nemo Scientific Center, and offers free WiFi in public areas.

This was by far our best stay in Amsterdam! The cruise to the new dock was a dream! The beds are basic, but still comfy enough to get a good nights sleep, the breakfast provided is very yummy! So many options, the host is amazing, and the roof top view is very nice too. Not too many people so always feels peaceful
