The kayaking in Lan Ha Bay was honestly the first thing that impressed me, the water was clear and very calm. Our guide Hana explained everything clearly and her English was great, she even played the flute for us on the boat which was a nice surprise. The tour is small group so the service felt very personal. Food was served hot, local style and easy to eat, even my vegan partner was happy. Cycling around Viet Hai village was peaceful and fun.

We were switched to a different cruise ship, The Rita, so I will leave a review about our stay on it. We were very disappointed not to go on the cruise ship we had purchased a room on. The Rita was a 34 room boat, with 2 rows floors of rooms, a floor for dining, and an open upstairs area with a bar and lounge chairs. The views when we were moving were lovely, and the highlight of the cruise. The food was good.
