One of the most amazing stays in all of Albania. The owner/manager is super friendly and makes sure our requests are answered and expectations are met. The food is exceptionally delicious, super fresh and all homemade by the staff.. hike trail is just behind the guesthouse, they make bonfires at night, and the starry sky is amazing there.. can't recommend this hotel enough.. thank you for all your efforts

I don’t even know where to begin. Should I tell you about the staff each and everyone became my dear friend? I have traveled to 60 countries and nowhere has the staff at the guesthouse Compare! The food was excellent. They surprised me each and every meal with the best delicious foods. I hiked every day. The trails are amazing. I danced every day. I was in love with the horse, dog and cat. Everything was so smooth that even after six nights, I wish I had booked more. There is no doubt in my mind, that I will return to this paradise of a place.

The Shala River is absolutely stunning. It’s most amazing when it’s sunny out too! I liked that I had someone come from Shkoder, drive me to the boat and then come with me on to the boat all the way to the guest hostel. I was never confused on what to do. I loved my room, I had one with a view. The room was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean.

EVERYTHING. Location is perfect, you can walk to the Blue eye and the restaurants nearby. The hosts are the kindest souls EVER. The mom of our host did not speak english, still, she sat with us and tried to communicate with us. Sweetest lady. Our Host spoke English and was extremely friendly. So friendly, he has a special place in our heart now. He sat with us, drank with us and he even sat down with us to play UNO. He never played UNO in his life before, so we taught him how to play it and he enjoyed it a lot. He even won multiple times :) He shared stories with us and was extremely keen on helping us with everything. We only spent one night here, but I wish we could have spent more. This place is healing.

We were taken care of so kindly that it felt as if we were visiting relatives in Albania.
