Awesome accomodation in a remote mountain village with an amazing views and surroundings. Host family was super nice and welcoming and even though their english is very basic, there was no problem with communication.

This was a perfect simple place to sleep before my hike from Valbone to Theth. There are 2 mini “markets” nearby that you can buy basic provisions such as fruit, nuts, beer and water. The village also has a few restaurants that you can eat at or order food from for your hike. However this guesthouse provided a wonderful home cooked dinner for an additional fee that was one of my favorites of my trip. The breakfast was included in the rate and also wonderful. Also keep in mind that not all the rooms have western toilets. But you can still count on a warm shower to relax at the end of the day. The family was very kind and did their best to communicate and accommodate their guests. Definitely recommend staying as it really gave me a more authentic experience in Albania.

It was beautiful, and very homely. The Mountain View room was beautiful as we had an amazing time. Everything was very clean, and the food was great.

The room is cozy, clean, a bit cold but very warm blanket has prepared. Also room is very new. Not that far from the starting point for hiking to Theth if you wanna do that. Also you can have local dinner which is good, breakfast included

The staff were a family that were extremely kind and always helpful and hospitable a loving manifestation of the Albanian spirit of hospitality even without perfect english for the non Albanian speaking people they somehow managed to communicate effectively and leave a lasting impression on most guests i saw there besides me that is an albanian Speaker.As for my experience they made me feel like im actually home and part of the same family and i felt like i was in my own home I will definitely come again.The location is also mesmerizing and excellent located very centrally so you have access to various parts of the village in similar walking distances.

The staff noticed that we’re late and didn’t finish the trail on time so they come to find and kind of rescued us. It’s the most modern guesthouse we’ve been to.

We had an incredible stay at Guesthouse Dioni. Run by the amazing Marita, she provides the most amazing hospitality - we had lovely coffee and tea, the breakfast was big and filling and she packed our breakfast for the day we left for the hike to theth and it served the perfect breakfast/lunch! The room is new with super comfy beds and pillows. The bathroom is also new and clean! The guesthouse itself is in the most beautiful location - surrounded by trees and right next to the start of the trail to theth so you don't have to walk so far in the morning. We had a great stay in the most magical surroundings!!

Beautiful location with great mountain views. Mire was a great host - so friendly and fun and helpful. Very comfortable room and good breakfast.

The breakfast was very delicious, homemade bread, cheese, boiled egg, salad and sweets as well. The woman that manages the guesthouse is very friendly and welcoming, smiling and giving good vibes. The place is very clean and cozy.
