Vacation Rentals in Obertraun

Great location, the town of Obertraun is beautiful even in rainy weather. The host was very helpful and polite, offering us late check in as our train was delayed. The apartment is cozy and well equipped, close to the Dachstein Ice Cave and Hallstatt, for a reasonable price. It takes about 15 minutes on foot to get here from the train station. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes away. Hallstatt is easily reachable by bus.

Everything was great! Especially the owners of this place — their attitude and hospitality were very nice.

This is absolutely a beautiful hotel with just by the lake with the best Hallstatt views one could ask for! I stayed there with my girlfriend and our experience was perfect. Self check-in instructions were very clear and easy. Room was clean. One must note that Obertraun is a very quiet little town where one needs to take a 10 minute bus ride to visit actual Hallstatt town, and the bus service ends around 22.00 in the evening, but for our experience, it was a plus as it ensured that we could avoid the morning tourist crowds.

It’s a nice small place in a very quiet location . Both Heidi and her husband were very nice and helpful, they also made breakfast for us at 7am since needed to check out early. The property is very nice and clean and the couple also run a rental bicycle place right next door

It's a magic place! The hotel is by the lake, surrounded by the forest. Peaceful, beautiful, clean and breathtaking! We stayed in Belladonna wagon - fantastic experience. The staff at the reception (shame on us, we were so tired that forgot to ask the name of a beautiful lady) is very friendly, helpful and nice. The whole facility is very well maintained, with respect and love to the history and details. I wish we could have stayed longer but even one day/evening at the lake, watching the sunset reflected in the water, enjoying the peace, sounds of nature, a cup of coffee is a gift!

The room has everything you could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It’s clean, cozy and all the essentials to make you feel at home. The location is also a big plus. It’s very close to Hallstatt. We walked down the street and enjoyed lovely views along the way, making the walk feel peaceful and scenic. Overall, it’s a great place to rest and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Very spacious and good location to Hallstatt, but needed to drive, too far to walk

This place was beyond my expectation. The room was very comfortable with stunning mountain view. The cleanliness was spot on. The breakfast was quite good and it was arranged in the living room, from where one can see the Hallstatt lake and surrounding mountains. Coffee, tea, hot water, some drinks were always available in living room. The bedroom and the living room were very nicely decorated and give you the warmth of home. Mark and Jane both are really exceptional hosts and they can suggest you a lot of things. We arrived quite late to Obertraun and had some food (already cold). Mark took the initiative to warm that in his personal kitchen. Also, on the very last day, we left our luggage for a few hours before coming back to pick them. I would love to come back again to this place.

The host couple was so nice. They even picked us up from the nearest railway point which was so kind. The owner was really helpful in telling about good spots nearby and arranged a good breakfast. Nice room and the view from the apartment was so beautiful. Nearest station is Obertraun.

It was very clean, easy to find, and the owners couldn’t have been nicer.
