Vacation Rentals in Geel

Very clean, nice design, many utilities (coffee machine, water boiling machine, hairdryer, washing machine , dishwasher, etc), owners checked in to see if everything was okay

This was a PERFECT place for our family: Mimi, Papa, kids and grandkids! The grands (ages 3 and 4) loved going to "the park," which is what they called the backyard. The backyard had a soccer goal and ball, trikes the kids could use, swings, a slide and a rope climbing challenge. The kids learned as they played. There were more toys inside. The space was clean, roomy, and had everything we needed.

So many good things. 1) The place is sweet, homey, clean, cozy (burning woodfire when we arrived in the cold afternoon)--a historic old building with modern updates/renovation. Lots of room. Two floors. 2) All the best values of this unique place, Geel, are embodied in the beautiful host Sophie. Our meeting conversation with her was one of the highlights of a month of travels for me, maybe the best moment of the trip. Very kind hosting--hospitality in the most real and deep sense. Plus: Sophie's husband Paul is a legendary cyclist (hence the name, Velo --94 is the year he won the Cyclo-Cross World Championship)--so cyclists, check it out!

A very nice chalet with everything you need and more. The lovely garden at the waterfront with the sounds of birds, geese and frogs gave us the real holiday feeling. And as we arrived in over 30 degrees C and in a blazing sun we were very happy to discover the airconditioning!

Philippe was very accommodating. He provided us with detailed cleaning every day as well as laundry services upon request.

Waking up by the lake and having our coffee with the swans, geese and ducks was like living in a dream! The house was so cozy and cute, very clean and well taken care for and Daphne was an exceptional host and very helpful and responsive! Everyone was asking us about the magical place we were posting! We will of course recommend AND return back ourselves!

Hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful garden.
