It was good hotel with good food

We loved Casa Toscana. This is a three bedroom house and my husband and I didn't need this much space but we looked at each other and said "how can we not stay here?". If you have even the slightest artistic inclination, a whimsical attitude or simply appreciate the labor of love involved in creating this unique home, this is your place to be. Wandering through the house is practically a destination in itself. There are constant new discoveries of interesting things incorporated into the art. There are at least four distinct outdoor seating areas and all of them offer a wonderful place to relax. Jurg prepped a fire for us on one patio and it was a great place to unwind after a long day hiking. Jurg is a charming, exuberant, talented host who sincerely wants his guests to enjoy their stay. He is informative and welcoming in his communication. The location is an easy walk to Old Town and very close to the lake. Parking is immediately in front of the house which is great for those driving a vehicle. We always hope to make it back to wonderful vacation locations and Switzerland is beautiful and Lake Thun is gorgeous, but the driving factor to bring us back here would be this amazing lodging!

The view is amazing! Close to town, walkable distance. Great location. Huge apartment, very well equipped for cooking.

The privacy…rooms were clean…kitchenette had all the needed stuff to make a hearty meal at home…the bed was comfortable…and a beautiful view of the mountains from the windows to go with…my girlfriend was glued to the windows every single morning once she woke up

Lovely apartment, fully equipped, beautiful views. A short (7-10 minutes) walk to grocery stores, lake and bus stop for Thun. We stayed in December, but for most of the year, the walk into Thun would be very nice. Excellent, clear communication with Kurt, the owner. Very reasonable price, especially for Switzerland. I highly recommend.

It was an amazing stay. The place, conditions... Everthing was beyond our expextations. Jennifer is really very interested and responsive person. She handled everything easily. The location was perfect. Lots of shops everywhere. 5 minute walk to the train station. The place was spacious and very clean. We will 100% stay here again. I wouldn’t even attempt to look for something else as this place is pretty unbeatable. Thank you so much!

It was in a great location. The host were very nice and their breakfast was extremely good! It was easy walk to the train and plenty to do around Thun. All the stuff was within walking distance

The apartment was very large and incredibly clean!

The apartment is roomy, with separate living room and bedroom. We liked having a kitchen, especially the Nespresso machine. The floors are not carpeted. The tv is truly smart. The neighborhood is quiet. The location is reasonably convenient to the lake and public transportation, as well as to shops. We appreciated being provided the Thunersee Panorama Card.

The train station was 10 minutes away via walking. Grocery store and shopping were next door. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was great having the washer and dryer. You could see the different mountains from the apartment. You were so close to everything in Thun. You felt like a local instead of a tourist.

Frank is a wonderful host.. very kind and helpful person.. Excellent apartment in Thun region.. next to the bus stop which made our traveling very comfortable.. The views from the apartment are stunning..

Placed close to shops, only walking distance to some grocery shops. Peaceful neighborhood. Good communication with owner, flexible for check in and out timing.
