Breakfaat was healthy and delicious

The staff was incredible - kind, attentive, helpful. There was a language barrier, but that was navigated with phone apps and using the bits of shared language we had. The room and garden outside were beautiful and comfortable - inspiring relaxation. The location was also nice because it was close enough to the tourist spots that we could walk (20 minutes to the “Ancient City”, but still far enough away to be quiet. Also a series of good restaurants near the hotel, so always good choices to eat. Finally, there were many adorable animals - Gary the dog, the pudgy male cat, a lovely Siamese and three perfect kittens - all friendly and non intrusive, they were there if you went to them but never pushed into your space. A splendid way to complete a family friendly hotel.

This hostel is suitable for backpackers. I met many during my stay. The owner is very helpful and the food tea, and coffee are great. I had a comfortable stay and ended up extending. Will stay again if I’m in town

Location is very good.walkable to old town The room is wide and clean. Staff is so nice and helpful. If you have to leave early in the morning they can help you pack the breakfast to take away.

If you wanna feel quiet and peaceful ancient in Lijiang, Johnson's home is a good choice. - Kind and supportive owner, Johnson helped us to carry our luggage way in and out to the road. Showed us some attractive places to visit, and support in reserving a ticket for the Legend of Romance show - Experienced in Naxi house, unique and style architecture design.

A truly exceptional place to stay. I do not normally rate places anything near as highly as this, but this is an absolute treasure. Beautifully styled and crafted, with superbly comfortable beds, great bathroom and delightful underfloor heating. Very friendly and helpful host. Great location. Decent breakfast.

The location is excellent—within a short walk from the Market Square and Mufu Palace, yet tucked away in a quiet area perfect for a restful sleep. The architecture has an authentic old Chinese charm, while the amenities offer all the modern comforts. Our hosts, Julia and Jeffrey, were outstanding and incredibly helpful. They speak excellent English and assisted us with everything—from arranging transportation and recommending great restaurants to suggesting must-see spots and even helping us navigate WeChat. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!

It was a nicely nestled old Chinese house structure in the Old Town, and it made unique experience. To add, the owners were extremely kind and helpful. They went extra miles to serve.
