Great location! Clean & comfortable. Note that parking is a short walk away, but we had no issues finding spots even during a busy weekend.

We loved the Apartamentos Rurales Valverde. The location is stunning, the grounds were beautiful, and the pool was pristine and refreshing. We loved the walk into Potes which was beautiful and much more fun than driving, plus it’s an easy drive to many nearby hikes and villages. The apartment itself was extremely clean - one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in- and perfect for our family of 4. Finally, Sonia was an excellent host - responsive and kind, and she provided excellent suggestions (the hikes and restaurants she suggested were our favorites of our entire trip to Northern Spain!)

The apartment was comfortable with nice views, a smart bathroom and parking directly outside. There is a lovely walk along a quiet, paved road that takes you all the way into Potes too via some lovely scenery - about 40 minutes. The double bed was very big and the shutters kept it very dark so we slept well. We were able to take our dog and to cook our own meals in the compact kitchen.

SPA facility is the main point of this property. Swimming pool and jacuzzi are perfect for one or two families. In our stay (7 days) we barely met other people two times in the SPA. Swim caps and flip-flops are required to come in. Owners are committed and very attentive about any need. Reception office is next to the building. Location is in the main roads fork, excellent for moving to the main places in Picos de Europa. Apartment was very clean and fully equipped. Free parking in front of the aparment most of the days in our stay (middle-end august). There is a supermarket in front of. Also some hostels to have breakfast on nearbys although they aren't very good, better to go Potes downtown for having any kind of meal.

What an exceptional place to stay . Can't praise this wonderful house highly enough. Not a hotel if course more of a very high quality guest house. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the mountains is just wonderful. The fresh embroidered table linen is a superb touch. Friendly owners with reasonable spoken English. The local picturesque town of Potes only 5 mins away is lovely and has a number of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. If you need to cool off then drive 20 minutes west and take the cable car up to one of the mountain peaks.

The place was beautiful with views of the mountains. It was serene, away from the crowds at Potes but near enough to reach for restaurants and where the action is.

nice quiet location overall. very nice staff. felt a little bad being the only guests two of the nights and having them open the restaurant just for us. Sorry!

Staff and room and view were all excellent

Lovely apartment within walking distance of Potes centre. Smart TV in both bedroom and living room. The kitchen was well equipped and included a hob, microwave, and fridge. Bedroom and bathroom were a great size and plenty of hot water for a shower. Easy check-in via WhatsApp once we got the right codes. Free parking in front of the apartment. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place in the middle of the historic center of little mountain town. The parking was just few hundred meters away.

In the center of Potes. Three directions of air. AmaIng views from the apartment. Huge!!. Living room + master bedroom with private bathroom and shower. Two more bedrooms with two more bathrooms. All required equipment for a long stay. Responsive host.

Great location and great value. Staff was helpful and beds were reasonably comfortable.

Very unique property makes you feel like your home simple but yet very elegant and beautiful. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff was amazing. 

Handy for town and having balcony to enjoy and drying facility ( airer) on balcony to dry kit .

The special experience the home offers. You feel the history within the building while it has thoughtfully been restored and furnished for a full comfort.experience. Easy last minute check in. Great sleep

Great location by the river, close to shops, restaurants and town center. Clean, well stocked apartment with beautiful view of the river. The host is very friendly and helpful and let us check in early. We would love to stay here again next time when we are in Potes.

Near town but felt like a country cottage

Beautiful flat, well maintained home.

Location in center of town; beautiful mountain/town views from balconies; newly refurbished; very clean and comfortable; we were 3 adults and 3 children and it fit us perfectly; bathrooms excellent; wifi great; TVs in living room and all bedrooms; bedrooms great; washing machine worked well; large dining table; lots of street noise at night but the bedroom windows keep out the sound very well when shut; host was very responsive; sufficient parking nearby; love the keyless entry system; we were fortunate to find this property when booking our last minute trip to lovely Potes. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! Thank you for hosting us!
