Vacation Rentals in Laon

The day before we arrived, I received a text from the owner Olivier with details of the property and asked if we would like dinner. I text Olivier, ten minutes before arrival, as requested and he sent a video of the road to take. He was there on arrival and asked if we would like to use the pool for an hour. We had this to ourselves and it was lovely after a long, hot journey. The room was gorgeous, the bed was extremely comfortable and it was spotless. There was a tassimo machine and kettle in the room. Me and my husband were the only ones for dinner and Olivier and his son had made homemade burgers and the best chips I've ever tasted. Breakfast was a lovely spread with fresh bread, croissants and pain au choc on each table. There is also a sauna onsite and you can book a massage too. An excellent place to chill. The town of Loan is close and there is lots to explore locally.

The location, just a block or so from the sublime Laon Cathedral, is unbeatable. Plenty of nearby restaurants, bars, shops. A good value.

We faced the gorgeous Cathedral Notre Dame in Laon. Easy walking to many museums and sites. Amazing history to this area.

everything, could not have been better. Peaceful, tranquil, historic, location absolutely perfect for researching WW1 ancestors. Hosts were lovely just wish I could speak french.

Location is excellent, large apartment, good facilities. Free (I think) parking 100metres away.

Laon is beautiful. Superbly thought out. A small apartment, but very well laid out. Good size bathroom. Kitchinette well equipped with modern matching crockery. Decor extremely well considered, which showed that the owners cared. Bars and restaurants a 5 minute walk.

Fun place to stay. Loved the location and the unique layout of the multiple levels. Perfect to meet our needs.
