Vacation Rentals in Donoussa

From the moment of being picked up at the port to being dropped off there at the end of our stay everything was perfect. Location, quaintness of room, friendliness of owner and all staff made it the perfect first visit to Donoussa. The most tranquil island, with perfect sandy beaches and clearest sea for swimming in. it has stolen the hearts of my friend and I.

AMAZING view, spacious and comfortable rooms, crispy clean, wonderful owner and staff. If you forgot what relaxation feels like please visit them: combination of Donoussa awesome beaches, 5-7min workout up the hill and the view does something to your nervous system. It's magical. Day 1: you hate the hill Day 2: you hate yourself for not being able to breath up the hill Day 3: you're kinda getting used to it, no turning back now... Day 5: you're fine walking from beaches and shops with a watermelon up the hill. Multiple times After Restia: your heart is stronger, you walk miles on flat surfaces so much easier, no hill is intimidating for you, you remember how to breath and smile taking one day at a time

Great host (Loukas) - provided transport to and from the ferry, facilitated a quick check-in and gave us the island basics. Makares is just a short walk to the center of the village. Great seaview, clean - as advertised. Felt comfortable to spend a couple of days there.

Staying at Stenosa is an unbelievable experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, combining traditional and genuine Cycladic architecture with thoughtful design and attention to every detail. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a peaceful sanctuary overlooking the Aegean. The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with luxury sheets and linens that smelled divine, with a lovely terrace offering breathtaking sea views, and a bathtub you won’t find anywhere else. I’m talking a fully restored wine barrel cut in half and that’s your bathtub! The entire property is maintained to perfection, and every corner reflects the care and passion of the owners. What truly sets Stenosa apart is the hospitality. Dimitris and Dionysia are warm, welcoming, attentive and accommodating hosts. They made us feel genuinely welcome from the first day and were always available with recommendations, local insights, and suggestions about Greek wines, which they offer in their fridge! Their warmth and kindness created an unmatched personal experience. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the port, the village, excellent tavernas, and the stunning Kedros Beach. Despite being close to everything, the atmosphere remains wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. If you’re looking for an authentic, elegant, comfortable and memorable stay in Donousa, Stenosa is the perfect choice. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The host met us at the port and gave us a wonderful introduction to the area and the property.

Dimitris was a great host. Very Clean accommodations. Spacious rooms and plenty of places for your clothes to store during your stay. The kitchen had a nice large sink and counter space for preparation. The supplies they offered were all we needed a couple of glasses, plates, bowls, silverware, a kettle for warming water for coffee. They had ice in the freezer and a bottle of water in the fridge when we arrived. Hot plate and More pots and pans we did not use. We find that most island bathrooms in Greece are small but very functional. Toilet, shower ( rain head and hand held) and a large sink. Under the sink was a nice area to hold all your essentials. We had a large balcony with a large clothing rack to dry and air out your beach things to be fresh for the next day. Beautiful village and sea view. The location was close to everything we needed a few super markets, and restaurants and bakery.. The beach was a short 5 minutes walk from the room. Many more beaches available by a boat @ port 10 minutes walk, or bus stop 5 minutes walk. Our stay on this beautiful island and perfect hotel was better than we ever imagined. Beautiful landscape and a very quite location. The rooms were quite and private. Cleaning service daily. Can't wait to go back someday. We highly recommend this property.

Spatious room, nicely decorated, amazing view to the see, very central location, comfortable bed, 2 balconies.

Marianna and her family are very kind. The place is very comfortable, clean and quiet. It is located in town near the beach.

No Breakfast. Location was great (in the heart of the village), provided that you are not looking for a sea-view location. Building is brand new (a year old) and the owner runs 2 other properties on the island so he's very experienced and this shows in the construction of the building (materials) as well as facilities and amenities.

Amazing views, great and warms attention by host

Vasilis is an excellent host! The room was very comfortable and cleaned daily, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The studios are conveniently located just a 3 minute walk from the port and the village center.
