Vacation Rentals in Olympos

Anemos guest house is in one of the most beautiful villages in Greece. If you go to Karpathos there are plenty of places to stay on or near the beach but I would highly recommend the traditional village of Olympos, especially if you want peace and quiet amazing views and a more traditional experience. The host was friendly and communicative, and the room was large and comfortable with a spectacular view. There is a small kitchenette for self-catering and a large balcony with comfortable furniture to enjoy the view. Plenty of hot water in the shower since there is a solar water heater. Note that the bed is a traditional style wooden elevated bunk that requires stairs to get in and out of. Olympos village is amazing, full of friendly locals and delicious food at the many tavernas. Highly recommended I will definitely be going back.

Simply amazing. Everything is exactly as advertised. Breathtaking views, spacious villa, clean, quiet, well provisioned. Emmanouil is a great host, responsive, friendly, helpful. True, it is a bit of a trek to get to the location, it is in the very northern part of the island and you will have to navigate along (stunningly beautiful) cliffside roads along the coast (and the very last bit is a narrow, windy gravel road along the mountain side) but it is a negligible price to pay for the location you’ll find yourself in. The town of Olympos is incredible, almost trapped in time. If you want to know what authentic Greek culture and living was like, this is the place to visit. Stunning scenery, incredibly friendly and generous people, great food at the many small cafés throughout the village. That said, food shopping is a bit of a challenge. There is a tiny market in town for very basic items, but you have to drive about 20 minutes to the north to get to a better stocked grocery store. If you want a truly amazing life experience and are willing to embrace a slightly rustic flavor, this is for you. I almost don’t want to write such a good review and keep this place the special hidden gem that it is.

The location has a really great view and is very cozy. We just needed a place to sleep at night and it was perfect for that.

Very clean place, beautiful decoration, very relaxing and traditional atmosphere and of course some breathtaking views!

Quiet, cozy room overlooking the mountains, staff is friendly and welcoming. If you want to try some delicious food, just head upstairs to the taverna.
