We picked The Garuda Villa and Restaurant as a stop on our journey because it was right in the middle of our route. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the complex turned out to be bigger than we expected from the photos. The garden is lovely, and the rooftop offers a beautiful view. The staff is incredibly friendly, which made our stay even better. There’s also a small but nice pool—perfect for cooling off on hot days. Plus, the WiFi is excellent! In the evening, we ate at the restaurant, which had a huge selection of dishes and tasted absolutely delicious. A great place to take a break and relax. Would stay again!

This was a truly wonderful stay at Pondok Nyoman. Ideally located in central Bali close to the lakes, multiple waterfalls, etc. The views from the homestay are very special & the ambience also makes it feel almost like a retreat perfect for getting away from the busier parts of Bali. The owner Nyoman makes you feel so welcoming along with his staff & they go out of there way to make your experience in Bali as authentic as possible. There's always someone there to drive you about or if your preference is to scooter they are a available at a very good rate. I extended my stay from 3-8 days, everyone I met over those days extended too, can't give more praise than that. Check it out, you will love it...

We liked everything! The Villa was comfortably, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate our needs. We also enjoyed the pool with its beautiful view.

My villa was spacious, clean, and featured a stunning private balcony overlooking the greenery. Waking up to the sound of birds and mist rolling over the hills was truly magical. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. From arranging local excursions to recommending the best nearby waterfalls, their hospitality was top-notch. One of the highlights of my stay was exploring the nearby waterfalls and rice terraces. The location is perfect for nature lovers who want to hike, enjoy scenic drives, or simply relax in a peaceful setting. If you're looking for a serene retreat in Bali away from the crowds, I highly recommend this place.

Amazing views and lovely staff!

Great location for waterfalls in the North. The staff on property was very helpful and gave me the contact of a bike driver who rode me around to the waterfalls per my chosen itinerary. The restaurant on the property was really nice and had good food. The breakfast was amazing. Room was cozy too, they have hot water for shower.

Everything.. one of the best hotels I stayed in bali.. everything was perfect.. i came to know that they’ve opened recently and we were impressed.. the boy who welcomed us so friendly and he speaks English so well.. bathrooms/ room cleanness was 10 out of 10

The room right at the front is good with the Lakeview. The place is basic, the price may be a little bit high but not too bad. The restaurant and resort next door is good. There's a nice big cafe area upstairs also which is nice to sit.

Stay here if you are going to climb Ijen. It's close to where you start hiking and lots of local places to buy food and supplies that might have been forgotten. The hosts are lovely and our room was rustic and part of the experience that we were dreaming of

Everything about it. From the moment we arrived. The view, the surroundings area, the restaurant for Munduk area standard, and the cabin we're staying. The staffs are nice and have good customer service. Will definitely come back.

Had a wonderful stay at Alamu Ecolodge. The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal freshly prepared and full of flavor. The ambiance is peaceful, refreshing, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge. I slept incredibly well thanks to the comfortable room and tranquil environment. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and the hospitality made the experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great food, beautiful surroundings, and a truly restful stay. Looking forward to coming back!

Great little rustic room overlooking the lake and lush garden full of flowers, birds and tree shrews.

The landscaping is amazing, so well thought out and maintained impeccably.

The view was for sure the biggest atraction there. Very calm and relaxing place with kind people. The room was better than expected, good comfortable bed, very nice bathroom in fitting style with good shower. Its good to have a scooter or car to get there but the grab brought us to the place and away just fine. We really enjoyed our net that was in front of our room:)
