Hotel is close to the theme park as it is the only hotel associated with the theme park. BUT the hotel and theme park is quite far from the train station. There is a free bus shuttle but runs infrequently. We ended up taking taxis to the facility . The hotel is huge and it had lots of things that could accommodate the large crowd: Pool and game rooms for children, large onsen baths, large self serve restaurant, and a big store for shopping.

Great location not far from the train station that is easy to walk to. The guest house was absolutely beautiful! The host were super helpful and took me to the hotel in their car. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Tadotsu.

The place is very clean and newly renovated. Finding the key was simple, and the neighbors were very quiet. The interior is cozy and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.

This was so close to the pilgrimage route with decent sized bunk beds. It's right next to the train line into Takamatsu. Owner speaks excellent English.

Best hotel I've stayed at in Japan. Beautiful building, incredibly lovely and helpful staff. Meals were delicious and plentiful. I proposed to my new fiancee here and I'm so glad I did because the staff and the hotel could not have been any better.

A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath.

Really excellent stay in this out of the way and beautiful place! Our room had a private hot spring bath - perfect for relaxing after a hike up to the many shrines on the mountain. We came for when the Kabuki theater had a show and it didn’t disappoint. Staff was multi-lingual. Food was excellent, Japanese set menus in a charming dining room.
