The woman who manages it, Okubo-san, is a wonderful lady, and I would absolutely recommend this rental apartment to anyone who is visiting the Fuchu area. Everything about my experience was great. Everything that one could need (including a laundry machine with laundry detergent!) was in the apartment and I never felt the need to ask for anything. It was very clean and only a 5-minute walk to Fuchu Station, so there is easy access to surrounding areas of Tokyo as well. I also liked the bedding... it was very soft and comfortable.

A historic property full of character with charming Japanese style rooms. The dinner and breakfast with local tofu were both delicious and the staff very kindly adjusted the menu for dietary restrictions. In the evening you can book a private time-slot to use the outside bath which is very atmospheric. Staff were all very friendly and gave a lot of insight into the ryokan and the history of the area.
