Bee Bees Chalet is a true homestay where the family live in the same wooden chalets as the guests. The 3 children are adorable as are the parents. The oldest son - BeeBee speaks fluent English as does Nita, the mother. The evening meals were excellent. This was our first stop in Cambodia so we were a bit taken a back by the cold showers and no air con but it was absolutely fine. They organise all sorts of trips. We did the boat trip which was good fun especially as BeeBee joined us. We learnt so much about Cambodia from this lovely family.

The owner and wife were friendly and helpful, they help everything whatever you need. The location was quiet, and the huts had a lot of space with working hot shower.

Ratanakiri homestay provides a family environment with multiple options for accommodations such as dorm beds, bungalows and private rooms. Mr. T and his family are very welcoming and make guests feel at home from beginning to end. The hosts are also very helpful with everything one might need such as recommendations for landmarks to visit, having food available at the homestay or setting up for jungle trekking. This homestay is also very involved with the community providing afternoon English classes to children and donations for the locals. Definitely a great place to visit and a good cause to support.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very much a family endeavor. Smey built the cabins himself. They were set in a lovely, clean, and well tended garden. Smey was always helpful in answering questions, suggesting restaurants etc. and we hired him for a day tour of some nearby villages, which was interesting. The Homestay is away from town, so we rented a scooter and that worked out perfectly but tuktuks are also available. All in all Tribal Homestay was a perfect place for us in Ban Lung and we felt lucky to have spent time there.
