This is a beautiful new construction with sweeping views. Perfect for adults/couples with 4 en-suites. Fully equipped, private. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This small lodge is set at the top of a mountain and has breathtaking views of the surrounding ocean, hills and Fort-de-France across the bay. We stayed in a comfortable and well-equipped one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and bath and even a jacuzzi. There are also snacks and drinks in the room for purchase. Odile and Frederic were wonderful hosts and also prepared us a lobster dinner that was our best meal in all of Martinique.

The view of the ocean, the proximity of the beach and shopping

Apartments was at the back of a building that was right on the beach. In either direction were restaurants, bars, and vendors of all kinds of activities. Water was warm, clean and relatively calm almost the whole week. Surrounding hills were lush green and beautiful. Apartment was modern, well equipped, very comfortable and quiet. Parking was somewhat close by, and we had easy access to visit areas all over Martinique.

Friendly hosts and great accommodations

We had a wonderful stay. The house is on top of a hill with a view from the deck of Anse d'Arlet bay and town. It overlooks a garden and there are beautiful trees on the property. The bedroom is at the level of the top of a tall tree, so it almost feels like you're in the tree tops (see my photo). You can see birds clearly. There's a resident hummingbird that comes to visit, other birds, geckos. It's truly delightful. There are big glass windows in the bedroom, kitchen and living room which also has glass doors. These all open up so during the day it feels like you're in a bright, airy, indoor/outdoor environment. The kitchen and pantry are well stocked with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, and anything you may need to cook and make food/drinks. The beach and town are less than 10 mins walk downhill (see pic of road). The town itself is very charming. If you're driving into these towns to go to a beach, you have to show up by 9:30am since otherwise all parking spaces are taken - so it was very useful we didn't need to drive to the beach here. The location is close to other towns as well, we got to explore the coast easily. You should arrive however with shampoo, etc. since the tiny store in town doesn't carry these products. There's a good restaurant with fantastic view overlooking the sea just at the end of the road (see photo). Since most restaurants are closed for dinner, that made it very easy to get food. Karim was easy to interact with as host. He provided helpful information, was available when needed, and was never pushy. One time we were almost out of toilet paper (and there's no easy way to get toilet paper unless you're driving to a store somewhere), he showed up within 5 minutes (they live upstairs). There's a bunch of snorkeling gear to use. That's helpful as tour boats don't supply these.

The apartment is renovated and 3min walk from one of the prettiest beach of Martinique. The balcony is big and has a great view of the bay.
