Vacation Rentals in Fare

We loved the quiet surroundings, pool and ability to rent a car from the owners. Owners, Alain and Jean-Luc are very friendly and ready to share information on the island. They recommended a lagoon tour company that far exceeded our expectations. There were consistent breezes blowing plus an over the bed fan keeping us cool.

Host was available to assist with questions and room needs.

We loved that Frederic was at the airport to bring us to the Motel Vanille. He gave us a tour of the grounds. Frederic was very helpful and attended to our needs and requests. The room was what we expected for a motel in Huahine. It was well located and in July, the Heiva (traditional Tahitian festival) was a couple of hundred meters behind our place. Loved it!

The bungalow was spacious, clean, modern, nicely appointed, and next to the ocean. It had a comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, and ceiling fans throughout. Also an outdoor shaded seating area with table and chairs, lovely. Nathalie was always available to answer questions and to help out. The loaner bikes were very kind, though really a car or motorbike is ideal for getting into Fare and around the island. We loved being so close to the water even if swimming is not really feasible — the reef is close here and the lagoon shallow. The beach is gorgeous anytime but especially for sunsets, and we even saw whales one evening. Altogether a delightful place and a wonderfully memorable stay! One thing to consider when booking is that you will reserve a specific bungalow — there are three, all different. So a review for one bungalow doesn’t reflect the reality of every bungalow, they all have different advantages. Great value for the price!!

Great place - great location and a short walk down the beach to town.

Great staff, nice rooms, good location and lovely to have fresh baguette with butter and jam in the morning.

It is a very private place with the private beach where snorkeling is really nice. You are in the middle of the nature. Night has an amazing sound.

Excellent location - 10 min walk along the beach to town and less than 5 mins to the beach. Very comfy bed and spacious apartment. Bernard was lovely and even lent us snorkeling gear as we hadn't brought any and there was no where to rent it. and helping us arrange transfer to airport etc. Huahaine is magnificent and we would go back again and stay here in a heartbeat.

Nice little container house with a good bathroom and little kitchen with most of what you need. It's pretty far away to walk to town that's why you have access to two bikes in the shed. The host was super nice, always answered quickly and brought us to the port on our departure day.

We had an amazing time here! The location in proximity to the beach was phenomenal, we walked there every day! The place was perfect and so comfortable. We loved the hammocks especially. Our hosts were so friendly and kind and had the best recommendations for us! It was a short walk to town for anything we needed.

The place is beautiful, location is great, hosts are very nice and accommodating!
