Welcome to quinta do cano, a small piece of oasis in the era of Évora. This charming place is full with life both in all of the amazing flowers in the garden and with all the cute animals on the property. I had a wonderful stay there and the owner are so welcome and helpful. I would definitely come back.

We loved everything about our stay at Casa do Governador. A very peaceful spot just a few minutes drive from Evora. The property is extensive with olive groves and vineyards to wander through. The pool was refreshing after a hot day touring Evora. We stayed in the main house and the room was large, beds comfortable. Staff were very attentive and helpful for our requests. Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold options and we had dinner one night that was delicious. Would highly recommend a stay at this gracious country home.

The hosts were amazing, very sweet and thoughtfull, always making sure we were having a good time!

Loved the village story & the fact that it is cared for by the locals themselves. Also, Hand delivered breakfast in a basket in the morning was plentiful, & healthy. Bed was comfy, and the casita was very clean. Even the walks were swept in the mornings. The locals take pride in their village. Also sustainable solar hot water.

The owner Victor was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The house was beautiful with lots of historical charm. Breakfast was well served with variety of food. Room was clean and comfortable.

Excellent location, exceptionally clean and great value. I would gladly stay there again. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen fully supplied.

The beedroom was well furnished and decorated. The host was kind and gave us all the information.

The kitchen has all facilities to do a meal. And, beside the staff is minimal, they are very attentive and always try to help.

Amazing grounds, very welcoming owner, he allowed us to explore the 8 hectare property it is on. Roman aqueducts on the property.

Susana has put together a truly lovely and welcoming space. I highly recommend you check it out. The docorating is beautiful and simple, everything is spotless, and she is such a warm and helpful hostess. If we ever find ourselves in Evora again, we will certainly stay with her!

Beautifully renovated old house in a great location. Would definitely recommend.

Carla was gracious and helpful from the moment we made the reservation through the end of our too-short stay. She greeted us with such enthusiasm and compassion that she cheered even my partner's grizzled, road-weary spirit. The house is as charming as its proprietor, with a comfy bed, excellent heater for the cold night, and a view onto the small square lined on one side by Evora's medieval aqueduct. The location can't be beat -- where else can you stay inside a medieval walled city, minutes' walk from a gorgeous cathedral and cloisters, Roman temple ruins, chapel of bones, and some of the best food and pastries you can find?

Beautiful apartment. It is well laid out and very efficient. It’s beautifully decorated and has very comfortable furniture. It had everything we needed for our stay. Great location.

This is a stunning apartment in Evora with a fantastic rooftop deck off the living room. There was huge storm while we were there which was fun to watch through the huge sliding glass doors. The hosts were so great and delivered extra sheets as we had 2 singles in our group of 4 and the Sofa bed in the living room is quite comfortable (not a hide a bed with bars in the back) and with sheets and blankets it was just like a nice bed. Very happy. We had the 2 bedroom, which has 3 bathrooms!!! It as perfect for our group.

Great location in center of old city. Close to everything - walk to attractions. Unit was spacious with lots pf room.
