Vacation Rentals in Piódão

Fantastic place in the mountains. Located in a schist village in some ways more charming than Piódão. Cozy place with a simple but more than ample breakfast. And all the firewood you could want for the fabulous fireplace. Thanks so much!

This spot was just awesome, it was paradise. Everything was clean, comfort was great, very quiet. I really liked the decor. I had a lovely balcony over looking the property and I enjoyed watching the farm animals come to the tree near the gate for a scratch. Maragite was lovely hostess and her worker Ashef was very attentive. Breakfast was really good too!

Adelina was wonderful! We arrived at the tiny but beautiful village on a cold and rainy day. After snuggling in and heating our little house, Adelina came by and offered to make us supper. She made us a great supper and we enjoyed every minute of her and her husband's company. We used Google translate to our good advantage. Enjoyed the supper she made in the local community building and watched some football with the locals. We were supposed to spend the next night in nearby Piodao but scrapped that for an extra night in Porto due to the cold weather. We did visit Piodao and found it to be overly commercial where as Arganil really seemed like the real deal.

The owner was very diligent and although we had a language barrier she persevered till we understood and settled. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless. The wood pellet stove kept shutting down but the 2 wall heaters kept us comfortable. The village was historic and beautiful to wander around. We enjoyed our stay thankyou.

The place was absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the welcome basket was a very nice surprise and much appreciated. Great communication with the host.

The atmosphere is great! You live almost in the wildness, in a megical village surounded by wonder view!!! The upper part of the house where the pleasent bathroom and bedrooms are located-has AirC that keeps these rooms warm! Great sleep! The owner helped us with bed linens...Thank you!

The location is amazing! Cute little cluster of houses on the mountainside and easily walkable to great trails and beautiful towns.

Quiet and peaceful location. Friendly host. Scenic views and near many nice little villages like Piodão. Clean. Some fruits included for breakfast.
