The place is a truly hidden gem in the area. Big lot full of nature, colors, fruits and trees of all kinds. It was perfect for a short stay before and after the lost city. Every dish of the menu was extremely well designed and very tasty. The premises and reading area had really cool music and a nice vibe. As well as the river and garden. The room was big and had very good beds. The staff (especially Diana and Lorena) is SUPER kind and attentive, and so were both owners.

I would put La Casa Del Mono as a definitive must stay for Colombia! If your trip isn’t already including Minca, then make a detour and spent at least a couple of nights here. Beautiful and modern cabin with an amazing location granting the best sunset views of the valley stretching all the way to Santa Marta. The host was fantastic and spoke perfectly English, we got tons of tips for the surrounding area that really helped us get the most out of the trip.

The host family is very friendly. The whole family treats you like a member of their family. Many thanks to Elena, Luis, Paola and Valeria :) Here is a quiet and extremely peaceful place. The place has a perfect terrace and view, and the sunset is beautiful from here. It's nice to start the day with a nice breakfast, coffee and view. Internet speed is very good, recommended for remote workers. All place is cleaned and organized every day. The kitchen is very good, you can find all the equipment. Also, Taganga sea is beautiful and swimmable, without waves. There are many restaurants and markets that you can reach in a short time.

The owners are super friendly and helpful. Helped us with the directions on how to get there, how to get to Parque Tayrona and how to get to Minca. The accomodation is kind of in the jungle with a 5-10 min ride by mototaxi to get there, so it's super calm and embedded in nature. The chicken wrap is amazing!!

Our short stay was phenomenal. There was an issue, unrelated to the hotel, with the power being lost in the sector. The wires burnt out on the line across the street from the hotel at around 2:30pm on Saturday. The hotel staff and the other neighbors made multiple reports to the power company regarding the issue, and they finally came out around 8pm to resolve the issue. The hotel staff ensured that we were comfortable and did everything in their power to make a bad situation manageable, and we appreciated their efforts!! The are very nice and hospitable and we enjoyed spending time at the hotel. The breakfast was hot and ready when we awoke yesterday, and we were very happy with the stay.
