Our multi-generational family — my husband and me, our two sons (early 20s), and my parents (late 70s) — had a wonderful two-night stay at Villa Riva in early May. We were greeted with such warm hospitality. Key pickup at the tourist office was convenient, and we were pleasantly surprised that a van had been arranged to take us to the villa. While the walk from the port is manageable and scenic along the promenade, this thoughtful gesture was appreciated given my mother’s mobility concerns, and it saved us from having to find a taxi for six people and luggage. The villa is a beautifully renovated stone house on the riva, just steps from the water. The highlight was the top-floor living area and balcony, where we spent mornings enjoying coffee and watching boats come and go. The panoramic view was spectacular! The layout worked well for us. Each of the first three floors had its own bedroom and bathroom. Since the staircase could be challenging, the first floor, which included a seating area and fridge, was ideal for my parents. The other two bedrooms were huge. We stayed on the second floor, which also had a balcony, and our sons shared the third-floor. Rooms could be configured with either king or twin beds so that was especially appreciated. The villa was very clean, with comfortable beds, an additional sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer (with detergent), and many other thoughtful amenities. We liked the detailed guest guide, too. The staff was responsive and remained helpful throughout our visit, including recommending a speedboat excursion that picked us up right on the water in front of the villa. We were sad to leave. With an incredible view in a prime waterfront setting, outstanding hospitality, a well-designed layout, and thoughtful touches throughout, Villa Riva stands out as one of our favorite stays in many years of travel. We hope to return again soon!

Centrally located and very clean

Gorgeous, very stylish place perfectly resembles the very unique charm of the Island of Vis. I loved the open concept of the upper level.The view from the window is amazing, and perfect to drink your morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset by it. Lucy, our host was super flexible, kind, welcoming and helpful and made us feel completely at home. 🙂 We sure will be back!

This gem of a property is nestled just above the main port of Vis, overlooking the harbor, the yachts, a scenic 16th century monastery, a beautiful lighthouse, and several offshore islands. The views from the villa are spectacular at all times of day. We enjoyed the modern well-stocked kitchen, the onsite laundry, and three floors of beautiful living areas. Walking distance to the center of Vis is less than five minutes.

Great location in the center of Vis town, yet very quiet both during the day and at night. The room is modern, very clean, and has with everything you might need during your stay. All shops, travel agencies, and nice restaurants are within walking distance. Two beautiful beaches are nearby, one is about a 7 min walk away, and the other is around 30 min by walking through the town. Very nice host Damir was responsive, friendly and very helpful with all the questions, recommendations, and requests we had. A lovely place to stay in Vis, 10/10!

Everything was exactly as advertised. Location was great. Parking was tricky but outside of that no issues.

Amazing location, right on the harbour. Very modern apartment. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning was invaluable.
