He will always take care of your needs, and help you with anything. If you are wise enough to have Stefan guide you for boat tours and to take you snorkeling, you will have the best possible time. He is patient, knows the best times to go to different places, if possible will wait for other boats to leave so you have a more personal experience with the dolphins or the turtles, etc. Stefan’s family is lovely and will make you the best meals, always respecting your dietary choices. If you are very lucky Stefan might bring out his guitar after dinner.

Ibra and the other staff were very friendly and welcoming. The homestay was very clean with big rooms. Ibra organized us a guide to experience the local toraja funerals. Our guide Rita was very knowledgeable and managed to show us multiple funerals at a different state. We could rent a scooter from the homestay for three days. Ibra organized our night bus tickets to makassar and dropped us to the bus station. We could also do a late checkout which was convenient to catch the night bus.

The location. Frangky, his wife and Eda made the stay comfortable. The food was excellent (I really miss the fish) and everyone was very kind. There is usually chicken or fish but you can request vegetarian/vegan options. The beds were comfortable and the mosquito nets worked well (though I didn't notice many mosquitos). The location is excellent as snorkeling by the nearby beaches is great. You can see turtles basically every time you go. The nights are quiet and you can sleep with just a fan. If you need AC that is available as well. Frangky also offers trips and the dolphin trip was a good choice.

I visited during Ramadan, and the family cooked all of my meals since the restaurants in the area were closed. The facilities are very simple and there is no wifi, but if you're thinking of visiting Rammang Rammang, I would strongly recommend this place.

We had great time here. A nice family homestay outside of the city center (it can be a little noisy though). Felt like at home, great moment over dinner, water refill, local medication if needed;) Room is spacious, clean, modern and well furnished. Breakfast was perfect and in addition you can rent motorbike here Henrick is a good guide I highly recommend a tour with him. He has strong knowledge about the toraja culture and will dedicate a lot of time to explain it. Kuree Sumanga !

This is the best homestay ever! Yansen and his family already started taking care of us before we even got there. Everybody was super nice and giving good tips (funeral ceremonies, further transport, where to buy postcards;)…). They also provide laundry service and very very good food! We came as strangers and it felt like we left as a part of the family!

Renny's Tangkoko Safety Stop offers air-conditioned accommodations in Bitung. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available.

Amazing stay at Renny’s Tangkoko Safety Stop. Renny and her son are super good host & made our stay perfect. Ino ( her son ) is in charge of the jungle tour and has a strong knowledge ( and patience) for all animals & we had the chance to spot Cuscus Bear, Black Macaques, tarantulas, Tarsiers thanks to him. The homestay is super clean with great space & bed. I highly recommend this place that is a gateway at the door of Tangkoko park Thank you for all Renny & Ino 🙌
