Super clean and lovely design. I finally felt like I was in a decent hotel after many basic homestays. I felt looked after, the massage chair was a blessing, and the breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend especially after more intense travels to relax a bit. :) Oh and the WiFi is very good.

Loved it here! Comfortable rooms, a nice little pool, delicious breakfast and super nice employees. Also a beautiful undeveloped beach just a 2 min walk and best of all the miniramp and skatepark! Super smooth concrete, nice selection of obstacles and super fun to skate. Hope I get the chance to come back some day, thank you to Baxter and the team!

This is one of the best places we have stayed in Mirissa. The rooms are very big, the washrooms are spacious and everything is very clean. The tiles might look a bit unusual but they are perfectly clean. The staff were very nice, especially Nethmi. She was extremely friendly, very caring and helped us in every way, from making our stay comfortable to guiding us about many things in Mirissa. The breakfast was really good and very tasty. The view from the balcony was also amazing and made the stay even better. There is a gym right next to the building which was a big bonus for us. Really loved staying here and we will definitely stay here again.

The house is completely new and beautiful. It was so much better than we expected. The owner made us feel welcomed and he was very helpful as well. My friend and I stayed one month totally in Sri Lanka in a few different accommodations, but The Moose Weligama was the best accommodation where we stayed.

The rooms are perfectly clean and well decorated. With pretty colors and paintings, hosts are both artists. The showers are perfect. Now the best part. The hosts are just amazing and the friendliest people will meet on the trip they have the biggest and brightest smile. I spent my wife's birthday in the hotel so I actually messaged them before coming there to arrange something tbh I wasn't expecting them to do anything maybe I would have been with them saying a little happy birthday but the surprise they arranged for my wife was not surprising for her alone but it was surprising for me too. They had a cake and candles ready on the bed, a banner with happy birthday written on it. Decorated the bed with balloons. The next day as it was Christmas they gave us free breakfast and gave us little gifts which really warmed our hearts. They literally made the 2 days our best stay in Srilanka by far.

Nisha, the caretaker, is beyond fantastic. She is so thoughtful and kind. She helped me find (through her daughter) a taxi to a national park and after I told her (genuinely!!) that the mango she had given me was the best of my life, she brought me a bag the next morning with two off her tree from home. Her cooking is excellent. The property is clean and quiet.
