Great location, big supermarket in the same building. Rooms are spacious and clean, warm and cozy upon arrival (we didnt book in advance but from hotel lobby).

I stayed at the Berat Castle Hotel for one night with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was absolutely incredible — without doubt the best breakfast I had during my entire trip. My family and I agreed it was the most delicious and authentic meal we’ve ever had in a hotel stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the cook did a fantastic job. The hotel has such a traditional charm, and everything from the hospitality to the food to the overall atmosphere felt genuinely special. This was truly a rich family experience, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I highly recommend Berat Castle Hotel for anyone visiting the area — it’s a perfect mix of tradition, great food, and warm hospitality.

This is the best place to stay in berat. The view is amazing, the surrounding area is very quiet. The cleanliness and everything else in this apartment is "10". The owners are very kind and willing to help you. We only stayed 2 nights, but you can stay in this apartment for a long time, nothing is missing inside. Down there is the new park of Berat so you can go for free. I highly recommend this apartment and I will come back again with pleasure.

The owner is such a lovely man, who greeted us warmly when we arrived and helped us with parking and showed us to our room even though we arrived a bit early. The room itself was thoughtfully renovated, clean, and had an excellent view of Berat from the balcony. Even though the villa is above a gas station, you wouldn’t know it once you’re in the room and looking out over the beautiful city, especially at night. A particularly sweet touch was the plate of fruit the owner brought to us after a long day of exploring Berat, which was just what we needed! The place is also an easy walk to the center of town by a pedestrian walkway. We really loved this place. Felt like coming home.

Without a doubt, we would highly recommend Veranda to any travelers coming through Berat. Located just a short 10 minute walk from the heart of downtown, this quiet bed and breakfast is absolutely beautiful with immaculate gardens, a quiet setting, and spacious rooms. What really made our experience, however, was our host, Ceni. As we arrived, he helped us navigate how to park in our rental car, showed us to our room, and then sat with us explaining all about Berat on a map where he made recommendations for things to do and restaurants. (By the way, his restaurant recommendations were spot on, much better than some of the Instagram ones we tried.). He was easy-going and kind, answering all of our questions. Breakfast was provided each morning at a time of our choosing (included coffee and tea, homemade cakes, bread with different jams, cucumber/tomato/feta, and a hard boiled egg.). The air conditioning works great, as did the hot water and water pressure in the shower. Our hosts even took our laundry in the morning and returned it washed and folded. Small downsides include that it's cash only (however, we've found this to be extremely common in Albania). That being said, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Cannot recommend enough!

Gorgeous appartment in a prime location very close to bars restaurants and attractions in Berat. Greeted very well and appartment makes you feel at home part of a beautiful villa which is very well kept. Hosts were truly wonderful and accommodating. Highly recommended! and very quick response from host.

The apartment was phenomenal for the price and the host is amazing. The apartment has 2 rooms with space for 4 to sleep. The ac blows cold and the apartment is situated right in the downtown with a super market very nearby. There is also a large flat screen T.V in the living room. Amazing location, clean, totally wonderful staff (everyone we met was so kind and helpful), delicious breakfast (simple but includes both savoury and sweet products). There is an AC and a really hot water, and you can get electric kettle, glasses, hairdryer or whatever on request. Really great view from the hotel terrace and non-typical interior

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Citadel in Berat. The hotel is brand new, and everything felt fresh, modern, and exceptionally well maintained. The interior design is beautiful, with great attention to detail, and everything is perfectly organized and in its place. The rooms were stunning, comfortable, and very welcoming. The mattress, pillows, and bed linens were of outstanding quality and gave me one of the best nights of sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The swimming pool is large, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a great selection of fresh products and local specialties. The staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help. A special thank you goes to the manager, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed every moment of our stay. I highly recommend Hotel Citadel to everyone, whether traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends. It offers comfort, quality, and exceptional hospitality. We will definitely be coming back!

Le Mom' is a awesome hotel, with nice clean rooms and very friendly staff. The host Endri is very kind and respectful, responding to all our needs. Nice breakfast. We had a great time! We highly recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Demaj. The location was perfect, walking distance to the castle and main streets, the view from the bedroom was gorgeous as well. The hosts were truly amazing, very helpful, and friendly. They also provided us with a lovely breakfast which was a great addition to our stay

I was really looking forward to my stay here cos of the reviews and photos I had seen. Our stay was marvellous. Our bus from Tirana stopped just few mins away on the main road so we didn't have much problem walking in with our trolley luggages. Staffs were helpful and approachable, providing me with a tea set when I requested. Room was cosy and nicely warm. Everything was clean and wifi was strong. The view from our balcony was superb and it was very peaceful sitting out enjoying the view. Breakfast was delicious with a couple of varieties provided at our preferred time. Just a few mins out from the guesthouse, you will find the stretch of shops and restaurants and a big supermarket. It's a nice walk through the boulevard. The other side of the road brings you to the hills and a great view. For the Muslims, there is a mosque very near the guesthouse. The bus stop which will bring you to the bus terminal is very near to the guesthouse. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I had an excellent stay at Vila Violet Berat. The communication before arrival was outstanding, and the hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and flexible. The rooms and facilities felt brand new, were spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The location is perfect - right in the center, within walking distance of the main attractions and next to larger hotels like Colombo. The breakfast was very good, and the price offers exceptional value for money. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berat.
