The host gave me such a warm and thoughtful welcome. He offered cold water and a coconut soda — something unique that I hadn’t seen elsewhere — as a welcome gesture. He also explained the local transportation options and nearby markets, and later prepared fried banana with juice as a snack for me and the other guests — a small but meaningful moment that made me feel truly cared for. The location is excellent — close to the airport and within walking distance of bus stops that take you both to the northern beaches and to Baby Beach. The room was very clean, well organized, and had everything I needed: iron, hairdryer, a desk to work from, a comfortable bed, clean towels, soap and shampoo, a small stove, and a mini fridge.

Hebert is the best host! Super welcoming, he's gonna tell you where to go and what to do on his beautiful island and trust me he's ready and knows what's he's doing. Also important to mention as a solo lady I felt comfortable and secure. If you're looking for an affordable stay it's the place to go in Aruba. Aruba Backpackers I'll be back !

The host Ingrid makes the best breakfast in the world in a beautiful picturesque decor, very close to the entrance of Arikok National Park and centrally located in the happy Aruba Island to visit both the Nortgern and Southern parts of the island. We had an exceptional stay away from home at Fuego Mio!

Nice location central to everything on the island, quick drives to anywhere you’d want to visit, plenty of grocery stores and great food nearby.

The host was wonderful he picked me up from the airport and help me with transportation when leaving as well. The host here also suggested different places to eat, help me with transportation around the island, and suggest places to visit. The place was spacious and very clean. I love how the theme of the stay was ocean and tropical, which is very fitting for Aruba. It was also very affordable in comparison to other places on the island. They even offered to take me on a hike in the morning to see the different areas of Aruba.

Nice apartment with all the facilities, also there's a pool in the backyard, great location if you rent a car, it's 10 minutes driving to Oranjestad and most of locations.

Very accommodating and graciius hosts! The room was perfect and rhe area is very easy to get around in and is very quiet. Exactly what we were looking for.

It's a beautiful place, away from the swathes of tourists, but definitely close to everything. The property is quiet and verdant, and the hosts were available and friendly. Facilities were also good to cook in. Amazing overall.

It is a beautiful property and a good location if you’d like to get out of the craziness of downtown. The garden that surrounds the property is absolutely beautiful and the room was very nice for the money. The owners are extremely gracious and accommodating. They went out of their way to make me as comfortable as I could be, even though I had hurt my back. They are just good people.

Maurice began communicating the day that I made the reservation. This friendly communication continued until I arrived at the airport in Aruba and throughout my stay. I was picked up at the airport by his wonderful son who assisted me in getting some groceries and cash from the ATM. A rental car was part of the package. My bedroom and bathroom were very clean and amenities were provided. His wife made excellent coffee and exceptional breakfast daily. We even went on a hike one morning so that I could experience a 360 degree panoramic view of the island. I plan to visit Aruba again in the future with my son and girlfriend. We will book with Maurice and his wonderful family.
