Cheap hotels in Belp

This is my second stay at this property, and I will definitely return as it is just perfect for what I need. It is quiet, clean, independent and has everything you need for an overnight stay. I didn't see the host this time, but there is no need as the keys are available and you can come and go as you please.

The host offered bread, cheese, homemade jam, and fresh fruit. There is a refrigerator which then we filled ourselves with milk, and other stuff. The host also has a Tshibo coffee machine with assortment of capsules. It was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The apartment in the house has 2 stories, upstairs the bedroom and bathroom, and downstairs for relaxing. The garden is stunning with many roses and plants and many other garden decorations. It is a relaxing experience to sit in the garden and enjoy the view. It is very obvious that the host enjoys preparing this location for rent. In addition, it is located on a hilltop, where you can go take leisurely walks or go hiking. With a short car ride you can go to the city of Thun which is worth visiting.

Old World Charm. This is a vintage 1960’s country hotel. The entrance is narrow, there are steep stairs, but it is lovely. The rooms are modern and clean. The management loves Americans. Nice town with a grocery cafe within 2 blocks. It’s funky. The onsite restaurant and bar was busy and looked like they served good food. This is not a curry 4 or 5 star hotel, it was a country Inn just a few miles out of Bern and the price and value was great. Free parking. Loved our stay

A very good communication with the staff, very easy and responsive! A clean apartment, equipped with everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. Great location, just 6 minutes by car from the Old Town.

Excellent location close to the river Aare (for swimming) and our conference venue (Bern University of Applied Sciences). The reception and kitchen staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals (breakfast and dinner) were great, the facility was always clean, and the staff were in attendance at all times to ensure the cleanliness of the rooms, public areas, showers and WCs.

Toni is so supportive and amazing and kind host, the place is perfect, i cant forget his balcony which filled with plants that he cares everyday and the unique view at night Staying with him is extremely recommended

The communication with the owners was very good. Free parking was a very good touch for us.fully functional kitchen with a nice bathroom.

Hands down one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Would definitely recommend it. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Wifi was good. Showers clean. Beds comfy. Kitchen clean and extremely well equipped, more than I expected. The location is easy to get to everything. Will stay here again if I'm in town.

Just had everything we need for a comfortable stay in Bern. Hotel is located super close to old town and easy to get by public transport.

My stay in the standard room was absolutely amazing! The room itself was on the smaller side (typical for many Swiss hotels), but it was incredibly cozy, clean, and relaxing – especially with the refreshing and breathtaking views that made waking up each morning a highlight. This hotel has one of the best locations if you’re planning day trips by car. We easily covered Interlaken town, Grindelwald, and Thun – all just around a 70-minute drive or less. It’s ideal for maximizing your time out exploring the lakes, mountains, and villages without wasting hours on travel. I’d highly recommend it for solo travelers or couples who want a peaceful spot to recharge after full days of adventures. Not ideal if you’re traveling with a larger group or need tons of space, but for us, it was spot on. Overall, a refreshing and memorable experience – we’d return in a heartbeat!
