Cheap hotels in Suzhou

What a magical place to stay, just like a palace.

This hotel’s hospitality is on another level and I was surprised. The room and hotel were clean and has beautiful modern design. You have access to free gym and laundry. Breakfast was delicious. The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is close to many great attractions. Walking from closet Huqiu station can take around 15mins so the closest station is far but there are some bus stops very close to hotel. Mr May was extremely helpful during my stay. He even took me to the bus stop and waited together to make sure I get on right bus to go to Suzhou railway station on my last day of stay. I was very lucky because my stay coincide with hotel’s free culture explore tour. It was a walking tour from Hotel to Xiyuan temple, Lingering garden, Shantang street and Ximinqiao market. The hotel staff even helped to get lunch ( famous vegetarian noodle & vegetarian bun at Xiyuan temple) and Suzhou’s famous snacks & drinks in Ximinqiao market. The hotel also gave free sourvenir (a hand-drawn bookmark from a famous artist) in Shantang street. I was able to understand more about Suzhou’s culture and history after the tour. All of the activities were free. It seems that the hotel also will prepare tours for other routes in the future too. I would definitely stay in this hotel again next time I come back to Suzhou and join another tour. Tip: if it’s a walking tour, make sure you have sunblock, bringing hat or umbrella since it can be quite sunny outside.

One of the best hotels I've stayed! The amazing design of the building, outstanding service from all staffs (from the doorman to the IT manager), the view of our room, the variety of breakfast... literally everything! Check-in and out went very smooth. Miss Zuo & Miss Pan at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I can see they really like their job and feel proud of it. Will definitely come back!

Lris at the concierge was so beyond helpful for all our needs as we checked in and planned our trip. The gym was complete and big, overall the property was clean and very spacious.

Staying at Jiangnan Weaving Mansion during my trip to Suzhou exceeded all my expectations. The hotel’s courtyards and waterside corridors fully embody authentic Jiangnan charm, making every shot picturesque. The staff member 小刘和小能 was incredibly friendly and fluent in English, thoughtfully recommending local classical gardens and specialty snacks. The guest rooms are spotlessly clean and quiet, featuring distinctive Chinese-style embroidered decor with complete amenities. Tucked away from the bustling city streets, the tranquil courtyard feels incredibly soothing for an early morning stroll. Blending cozy accommodation, attentive service and genuine Suzhou elegance, this hotel is highly recommended for foreign travelers eager to experience traditional Chinese classical beauty.

Excellent location close to the main shopping street Guanqian Jie, Taoist Temple of Mystery and Garden of Harmony. The metro station is in front of the hotel. McDonalds is in the same building. The most modern room we stayed at in China. The reception staff was very helpful.

Exceeded expectations on all fronts: breakfast, spaciousness, cleanliness, modern appliances including a much needed washer dryer from Siemens and very helpful staff. Good value and location. Front reception area also had thoughtful amenities, free.

Excellent location, close to a metro station entrance. Friendly staff and almost always someone was around who could speak English. Alston went beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Clean and entertaining environment, they had music shows, card game night and more. I really enjoyed my stay. Very high quality hostel in the beautiful Suzhou!

Excellent location within walking distance to subway and visitor centre with views of the double pagodas, the room was tastefully designed and larger than it looked in the photos. Friendly staff. Yummy bread and pastries from the bakery in the lobby!

The lady who owns the B&B was *very* nice. Room was large. Walk in shower had strong water pressure and lots of hot water. Location was perfect for exploring the city. As much bottled water as you needed

We had really great time here. All people great wuth good vibe. At reception also have rental clothes, the lady made me very pretty and let me bring overnight the clothes. The position of hotel is great, near canals. The room is big, comfortable and looks traditional. You must try it. Thank you for everything.Definetely spent best times here.
