Everything, amazing place, and the staff are always willing to provide the best experience. Highly recommend it!

The location was perfect! We loved everything about it - staff, facilities, domestic and wild animals, heard, and most mornings, saw howler monkeys! Loved the dogs and potbellied pig we named Miss Piggy. Per Pablo's instructions, we didn't feed or pet her and didn't leave food on our porch. The dogs were friendly and loved having them around to pet and enjoy. So peaceful, beautiful, and quiet. Good price for a studio. Beach within walking distance, a huge plus! Restaurants, coffee shops, and market within walking distance.

Diana is a wonderful host and an excellent person, she is from Italy and has traveled the world. Her breakfast made fresh every morning is a delight, complete with rice + beans, air-fried plantains, sausage, egg, cheese, coffee, and a wide selection of pastries and mini pizzas.

Quaint place with cute cottage like rooms, super large pool and restaurant on site. Very convenient to beach and Tamarindo. We enjoyed our stay. Wonderfully priced. So much better than the all inclusive resort we came from.

I stayed just for one day, but it was excellent. It was all I needed to chill. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Hotel Guanacaste Lodge and liked everything about it! Ana was very courteous and helpful at check-in and provided us with useful information regarding sites in the area. The staff were professional and friendly. The included breakfast was very good with excellent coffee. The grounds and cabins are maintained well, and the lodge has a very cozy and family-friendly vibe. The hotel has secure parking and is very quiet and peaceful during evening hours. Hotel Guanacaste Lodge suited our purposes perfectly. We will certainly recommend this hotel to others and will return to it when we are in the Playa Flamingo area.

I like everything it was excellent

We stayed at Bungalow #1 for 2 nights in August 2025. All of the communication we received from Sebastian before we arrived was very thorough and helpful. The place was spotless, it looked exactly like the photos, and the bed was super comfortable. I've already recommended it to 2 of my friends! As a bonus, at the end of the street, there's a place to eat called El Tiki. The food was delicious - one of the best meals we had!

The breakfast was phenomenal! The hosts provided fruits with yogurt and granola, coffee, juice, and then the second course of breakfast was different kinds of breads/croissants with jellies and then eggs!

New, modern, stylish, clean, very wonderful and friendly owner and all employees too! Great location. Nice little balconies with table and chairs off rooms, beautiful views of ocean from rooftop lounging area.

The place was in good condition and it was exactly as it looked in the pictures, some places use pictures where the place looks better than in reality but this wasn't the case and we loved the place. Susan is really friendly and willing to help you with questions you might have. It is located a few blocks from Potrero beach and restaurants in town and close to other more beautiful beaches like Brasilito, Conchal and Puerto Viejo. For sure you will want to visit them too. The room had everything we needed, I can't give feedback about the small kitchen because we didn't use it but it seemed good enough. This was our first time there and we highly recommend Mar y Posa. It is safe and calm if you want to relax, I bet you will like it.

Excellent location. Restaurant, market, marina ,walkable

An amazing space, this bungalow and the property felt like an oasis that was walking distance to the beach, good restaurants, a grocery store...it was absolutely perfect. The pool was refreshing and received the best of the morning sun, the trees and plants surrounding the space were gorgeous, and the bungalow itself had all I needed to cook my own meals and relax. I had a wonderful weekend here and will definitely be returning in the future.
