I love the amazing staff and food! And the sounds of the nature. There are many animals especially a goat that’s so cute. Caro who runs the show is so accommodating and always goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable! Highly recommend

One of the best stays I’ve had so far in the Dominican Republic. I travel a lot in the island and Casa Caona exceeded my expectations. The apartment is modern, and very well equipped, especially the kitchen which is where I struggle most when traveling since I like to cook. They had everything. The decoration is stylish and super clean, and the bed was very comfy. The location is great. Central, with a cute coffee place right next to it, and just a short walk to the most stunning beach. The people are lovely, and the host, Grace, is awesome. We'll def come back.

We stayed here July 22-25, 2025. This is a beautiful condo complex connected to a hotel that sits on a small hill overlooking the peaceful bay. It is so relaxing to sit out on the balcony and watch the boats. We had breakfast there every morning. Also, you can walk down below along the boardwalk where the shops and restaurants are. The shops are painted different colors. From January-March the whales come to the area with an abundance of boat tours to see them up close. In July, it was not super crowded which we enjoyed. We swam in the pool below us that was part of the hotel. It was awesome! There is another more private pool for the condos, if you prefer. There is a restaurant you can order from as well. I can't say enough good things about the restaurant staff. We were cooking one night, and we had walked to the store to purchase ingredients but some of them got left out of the bag accidentally. The restaurant below was perfect for ordering side salads to go with our meal. They even threw in the raw onion we needed for our main course, so we didn't have to walk back to the store again. The condo itself was super clean, and the kitchen was stocked with well-kept cups, plates, pots and pans, etc. The bathroom was stocked with everything you need. There is not a beach area to swim in where we stayed, but if you drive a few minutes up the road there are swimming areas you can see from the road with pretty water.

Bright and clean place with a nice balcony overlooking the town and the bay from the hillside. Richard was a very attentive host and it was convenient to get to the bank, restaurants, the island bridges, the departure point for the Cayo Levantado boats, and the Caribe Tours bus station. If you're going to Samana, this is a great option for a great value.

You get exactly what you paid for and even better service with a smile. It’s a no-frills beach-close street-side lodging with a comfy bed and air conditioning. The back balcony puts you in the middle of the jungle. Breakfast included with the room rate was made to order from the menu. Delicious options and quick friendly service. We ordered, went to the store to get ice and juice for the beach and came back and breakfast is ready.

The location is amazing, with a short walk through a jungley route to the absolutely gorgeous beach. The sound of the jungle as you fall asleep is incredible, and waking up to the jungle was also amazing. The room is wonderful and rustic, with wooden french doors that open up on 3 sides to allow the sights of the jungle in in the morning. Breakfast looking out on to the lush jungle scenery was a highlight of our trip! Muchas Gracias!
