We stayed in the expansive Main Suite and were blown away by the soaring ceilings, massive windows, and romantic 4-poster bed. Walking into the House of Mailly is like entering a refined, historic, and incredibly cozy world that you just never want to leave. What we loved: Stunning Architecture & Garden: Incredibly detailed revival of this house reveals eye candy everywhere, inside and out. The Food: Come for the house, stay for the breakfast! Laid on a crisp white tablecloth the delicious goodies look like a magazine photo. The Vibe: Exceptionally romantic with the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The owners are fantastic, kind, and make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. Perfect location, in the city but away from the hustle and bustle, impeccable cleanliness, and truly unforgettable ambiance. The House of Mailly is a reason to visit Châtellerault and we’ll definitely return!

Nicely appointed apartment with lightning fast WiFi, coffee and breakfast snacks, and a very comfortable and warm bed. Due to the building entrance being in the side (off the street), my studio was very quiet at night. Would be glad to return here for a restful night!

The property was very clean and ready for use. I loved that there were yea bags and coffee bags there for us. We got there on a Sunday when everything was closed so it was very welcomed. I also loved that there was a dog bed and dog bowls for our dog and a treat for him. It was very welcoming.
