Cheap hotels in Domme

The person who was serving breakfast, helped me in English for almost an hour because my French is so limited. She helped me purchase tickets and showed me how I was able to walk to La Roque Gageac easily .

Everything with the stay was top notch. Our host went out of his way on numerous occasions and was very courteous and professional.

We found a wonderful small cafe that had excellent croissants, coffee and chai lattes for breakfast. Very friendly.

The entry to Domme is through an imposing medieval portic. Good restaurants in the city. Francine's guest house at Domme is perfectly placed to explore all the attractions in the Golden Triangle of the Périgord. At the same time it is close, but not in the buzz at Sarlat la Caneda. The towns of Beynac and Cazenac, Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Cénac-et-Saint Julien, La Roque-Gageac, Vézac and Vitrac are worth exploring + 11 castles not far away. The guest house is quiet, no noises, and has a well equipped kitchen. The town of Domme has a belvedere where we can have amazing views from the river Dordogne, 150 metres below. I post a few pictures only. I could post many more from Domme and the region. But, I do not want to spoil other traveller's discovery of the region. As the region is hilly, many scenic views are granted for those that drive their cars outside the beaten track.

The property is in the stunning town of Domme. It was walkable to all the famous land marks and delicious restaurants. The bed was comfortable, opening the thick shutters onto the golden stone buildings was magical.

So peaceful and quiet, spacious, clean, great amenities, great showers and comfortable beds. Beautiful view, lovely garden. Owner responsive and helpful.

It is a beautiful property as a whole, where some rooms are used to host guests. The hosts live in the same house and are very pleasant. The breakfast was sufficient. Somewhat remote, need a car to get to town and restaurants. Enough parking within the property.

The property was perfect for our stay. Easy access in and out, comfortable room, very kind, communicative and accommodating hosts that made us an excellent breakfast in the morning. I would recommend La Touille to anyone visiting.

The hotel is located between La Rogue Gageac and Domme in a beautiful park-like setting! The grounds are impeccable, the staff are competent and friendly! The pool is nice and refreshing! The rooms are lovely and clean.
