Very special location with a beautiful view, great restaurant and very attentive staff.

Fantastic Experience. I enjoyed my stay there. I was a luxurious experience. The swimming pool is super clean, the rooms are spacious and fantastic and roof top view and restaurant are amazing.

All the plants, the whole layout was serene. The staff was friendly. There was a small pool and gym as well as the option to rent bike—even tandem. It’s a nice getaway.

The room is clean and comfy, The staffs are very nice to us. The breakfast is good enough. We arrived at night in heavy rain and we were so tired after long journey and they valet my car for parking which is so nice and the check in was so quick. They gave us welcome drinks too. So nice, we will definitely come back when we visit Banyuwangi.

Spacious and well maintained building with lots of potential. The ceilings are very high. There is common kitchenette downstairs, and nice sitting area on the second floor. The views from the roof are great! The host is truly amazing. She responds quickly on WhatsApp and provided extra sheets.

For the price wise, they gave you generous facilities. There are communal kitchen, you can make your own breakfast. They prepare you instant nooddle, eggs, coffee, tea that you can access for 24h.

Besides being a very comfortable accommodation the staff at Ijen Haus were extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged at the last moment for me to join a group to visit the Ijen Crater. When an online train ticket vendor would not accept my payment method they offered to purchase the ticket for me and I reimbursed them!

A private house literally all by ourselves and really close to the city center. Had a good walk and experience staying here

I stayed for a few nights at this homestay, and it was just wonderful. The biggest asset is definitely the owners, Lucy and her husband — such warm, caring people. They responded to my messages right away and made me feel completely at home. Lucy cooks amazing breakfasts, always with delicious variations. When I had problems with my debit card, she went out of her way to help me get cash, offering several solutions and patiently spending her time with me. They are a beautiful young family, and their kindness really stood out. The house is very clean and well-kept. It’s not a five-star luxury resort, but it’s casual, spotless, and perfect for a few nights’ stay. Located in a local neighborhood, you’ll be surrounded by authentic life — local people, eateries, and the lively sounds of the streets. If I ever come back, I would absolutely stay with them again. Highly recommended!

Location, size, price, and hospitality. The place is perfect for larger group travelers that require some privacy and would want to spend more time with the group rather than sharing its time and space with strangers in a hotel set up!

The location is perfect, 5 min walk from the port, 2 min from the train station. A lot of street food choices around. The staff was absolutely lovely. I had booked a female dorm but they gave me a couple other choices. Eventually, I had a private room for the same price. There is a breakfast option for 25.000. It is delicious and very filling. Free coffee and tea.

Never thought I'd be saying this about a hostel but I kinda didn't want to check out? The common area has this really relaxed energy, met some cool people there, and the location is lowkey perfect for exploring the area. Breakfast was simple but actually good, not just toast and sadness lol. Staff helped me sort my Ijen crater hike last minute too. Banyuwangi is slept on and this place is a big reason why. Already recommending it to everyone.

Best value for money in the city. It’s a bit basic, but it has everything you need: hot showers, a decent kitchen, and friendly staff who give the best local recommendations.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Santika in Banyuwangi. The room was lovely and the bed and pillows were the softest! The restaurant food was very good at great prices, but my favorite part of my stay there was the wonderful staff. Everyone at the front desk was so kind and helpful, and the restaurant staff was the very best, especially Ali, Nuru, Bryan, Dewi and Maya. They all made my stay so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to all!!👏👏👏

The homestay is really close to the station, Very easy to get to by foot.
