One of the best stays I’ve ever had! I’m usually not a big fan of dormitories or hostels – but my time at Indigo completely changed my perspective. It was by far one of the best stays I’ve ever experienced. The hostel is run by a warm-hearted couple, Silvia and John, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely communicative. You feel welcome from the very first moment. The entire team was also super friendly, relaxed, and just really cool – there’s a special vibe here that’s hard to describe. What truly made this place unforgettable were the people. On the day before I left, we all went on a day trip together – Silvia, John, the staff, other guests, and even some locals – to a remote, stunning island. We spent the whole day swimming, snorkeling, relaxing, chatting, and just enjoying life. In short: Indigo isn’t just a hostel – it’s a place that feels like home. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The location is perfect to enjoy sunrise, food is great, room is wonderful, staffs are very nice and helpful. Enjoyed kayaking on their private beach. Overall 10/10.

I’ve travelled all over the world, and this was one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. I can’t recommend it enough. The entire staff knew me by name (they even found out it was my birthday and sang for me and made a special birthday treat for me), everything was located onsite (yoga, massage, even a snorkeling tour that pulled right up to the pier), and the place was just gorgeous. Incredibly kind and generous people. You should book without hesitation

The hotel is brand new. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. There is a large pool that was wonderful for swimming and relaxing. The food at the restaurant was excellent. We plan to visit Karimunjawa again. We will definitely be staying at Narayana.

Great location easy to find from the port. The room was very clean and well kept nice comfortable bed with great air conditioning. Very welcoming environment had lovely conversations with Chris and his family. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting karimunjawa.

Loved my stay at Basa-basi Lodge. I stayed in a bungalow, and the scenery around it is absolutely beautiful, calm and refreshing. The staff are super nice, very welcoming, and always happy to help. Renting a scooter was easy, and they gave great local recommendations that made getting around and exploring simple. Perfect spot if you’re looking for a peaceful stay with friendly people and great views. Would definitely come back.

Basic but quite comfortable. Adi the host is a really helpful, friendly guy. It's just a little out of town, so no noise from the mosque.

The location was great, right on the waterfront, and I felt really welcomed as soon as I arrived off the ferry, where I was picked up and brought to the property. It was easy to sort out a scooter, trips and there's an honesty bar for beers, water and soft drinks. Also free tea and coffee. Breakfast was basic but really tasty and healthy! Fruit, eggs, juice. It was all really nice, and it's on a quieter street, just off the main road.

plan your visit to karimun by staying at this place! this place had a great view to the sea. feel the breeze from the sea and gaze the stars by the night. it's really nice to spend our time at the balcony

It's close to the port, alun-alun and it's in the center. It's easy to find something to eat.

The staff is very nice, they helped us with some issues with the boat ticket. They offer several services with a good price: boat tour, laundry, scooter and even private transfers -which we used to go to Bromo. The location is perfect, near to the port but still in a quiet area (other streets in the island can be very noisy with scooters and mosques). The common area is very nice,specially with the dogs. There are different breakfast menus but the favorite was the homemade bread. If you’re looking for a nice hotel and helpful staff, stay here ! Thanks Silvia,John, Oni and bro!
