The hosts were by far the nicest people I had met in Japan for half a year of my stay here. The plum sake, the warm futon bed futon and the long conversation by the wood-stove were amazing and warmed up both my body and my soul after a long day of winter sightseeing. The oto-san kindly saw me off to the station when the buses had stopped and the oka-san explained me one of their family sake recipes. Will absolutely come here again in summer.

The space is not huge but Takayoshi made it super cozy! The quilt and pillows are among the best quality so as the mattress! What's more, this place is right on top of the mountain and you can see the sky and the sea right outside your door. It was a perfect comfy little place to stay in Anashiri.

Everything is new, fresh and super clean. Staff responded to our request to place our rooms next to each other and in a quiet part of the building, so we had a very good sleep. Many thanks to professional staff for your support during our stay. The breakfast was simple, but good. Restaurant staff was very kind to assist me with my food restrictions and showed me allergen list. There is also a restaurant next to the building that is open till very late, very convenient.

The owner very kindly let me put my bicycle inside of her shed because of a very strong storm that was coming I stayed there for two days in the off-season right before skiing really could start and had a lovely time relaxing in the comfy rooms and the warmth. Absolutely stunning hotel in every sense of the word. Described as a Showa-Era hotel and it really felt like being taken back in time with such a beautiful hotel. The staff is accommodating above and beyond and I found myself delighted with every new thing I discovered while walking around. They offered me a private bath since I had tattoos and it was well worth every penny and really warmed up my weary bones after a long day of traveling and sight-seeing. And the concert in the lobby afterwards was such a treat! This hotel is an absolute jewel!
