Cheap hotels in Hakone

Everything is very good. The staff can also speak English, although I speak Japanese to them. I think this hotel is very ideal not only for solo travellers, but also for groups of 2-4 people travelling together. I also recommend trying their Private Onsen. Will return again soon :)

This place was the most luxurious I stayed during my time in Japan. Just so professional. Super clean, friendly and even a private onsen for customers to use inside (most days I went there was no one there so it felt very private). Excellent location. Movie nights on Mondays! Walk away from the botanic gardens, right beside the train station. I just had the most wonderful stay here.

Good location, free parking, nice and clean accommodation. The reception staff is friendly and good English speaking. I will definitely stay again when next visit Hakone!

Clean, comfortable, convenient. Easy to access eatery and convenience store nearby. Very close to station.

We reserved the free shuttle service in advance from Gora Station, which was very convenient. The staff at the ryokan were very kind and helped explain some sightseeing routes in the area. There is also a 7-Eleven and a sushi restaurant nearby, which made it easy to get food. Considering the price, I am very satisfied with the service provided.

Perfect place, calm and peaceful. Nice onsen and great food for dinner. Well served and tasty. The rooms are so clean and tidy.

We had a pleasant stay at this cozy little ryokan, was so comfortable, a perfect place to relax, the private onsen was great. And Tomoe, the owner is just wonderful, so kind and attentive.

Loved this property! It is so nicely decorated, and it was wonderful to smell the flowers when walking in. The whole place was squeaky clean. We loved listening to music on the record player as well. Close to train station.

Everything! It was spectacular! The rooms were beautiful Japanese style. The onsens were incredible, especially the outside ones. Our package included dinner and breakfast. The dinner was HUGE and delicious! Breakfast was great… Japanese style with some cereal options. Cute Yukatas in all sizes… even for the kids. The relaxation area was great… especially the free massage chairs.

Very nice onsen within premises. Shared kitchen and lounge were nice and comfortable. Good beds.

The room (tatami style) is well maintained, spacious, and comfortable. Private onsen is very nice. Included meals are impressive in terms of taste, variety, quality, as well as the portion.
