Cheap hotels in Izunokuni

We had an amazing stay! You get a nice amount of space and the entire area feels very cozy, just as the name suggests. All of the amenities/kitchen ware are quite nice and electronics have labels on them to help you figure out how to operate them for non japanese speakers. The host and his wife were also super hospitable and accomodating, making us feel quite welcome during our stay! The location also is top tier, as it is right next to a daiso, convenience store, and cosmetics store and centrally located to alot of the nearby tourist attractions. This place even comes with a great view of fuji from the front porch on a clear day! I give it my highest possible recommendation!

A very unique vibe. The owner collects dolls from other people who just don't want to throw them away, giving them a "second life" at this tiny ryokan. Most locals would find this eerie, borderline creepy, but it's super clean, the dolls are cute, the view from the room is super nice, so the overall energy is actually very very positive, and even nostalgic in a sense. The owner is super nice too. And you cannot beat the price:) Will gladly be back!

The staff were so friendly! Especially with my 10-month old. It was hard for me to leave, they treated me as if I were family.

Clean, considerable resources provided, nice restaurant and friendly staff. The garden, hot spring and room itself are excellent and beautiful.

Incredibly helpful staff. I went through a difficult time while staying there and they were very supportive for me and my partner. I can't thank them enough. They are doing their part to bring new life to this area. The villas are quite nice and modern, and the grounds are well-kept. The on-site cafe is a nice touch too. There are reciprocal agreements with nearby onsen hotels for you to use their facilities too.

The owners are wonderful. I am used to old farm houses in the U.S. so this was nice.
