Cheap hotels in Kushimoto

Very spacious and clean traditional Japanese home. The futons are actually very comfy and extremely friendly host!

The Host Aki-san is very friendly and went out of his way to accommodate us. We specifically chose this please because of the possibility to barbecue in the garden and he set it all up for us including coal for no extra cost. We just had to bring our own food to grill. The massive Kitchen prominent in the Pictures is actually a common area which I had misunderstood since Booking com said there was a Kitchen in the room I thought it was that one. But there is actually also a fully equipped kitchen and fridge and washing machine in the room (actually more like a small apartment) that you can use just by yourself. On top of it, everything has been renovated by Aki-san himself and is clean and looks better than in the pictures.

The building was beautiful and we had it to ourselves. The kitchen was available for our use and was well stocked. We enjoyed exploring the adjacent shrine and ancient tree.

Mercure wakayama is one of the best hotel in wakayama.. The room is really spacious..really big enough for 3 people..we booked mountain view room. Even though the location quite take some time to walk from the nearest sea.. But the location is very good.. We really like the outdoor onsen n the cleanliness of the onsen facility.. We also like the breakfast buffet in the morning.. There is also a shuttle bus to go here n from the train station., it's really helpful for the tourist

I really enjoyed the private access Onsen, available to sign up once a day. Perfect after biking around Kushimoto all day—I rented one of their electric assist bikes which made going up and down the local hills easier. Complete with helmet and cell phone holder. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Host is very polite and friendly. House and garden is beautiful. Bed is big and comfortable. Bathroom is in good size. We stay with half board plan and food is very delicious and super fresh. Highly recommend.

Great location in the middle of the nature. I wish we could have stayed longer. We knew there was no restaurant around so we bought dinner before. The host welcomed us very kindly.

Our hostess was very helpful and made our stay pleasant.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood within five minute walk from JR Koza station. Restaurants and supermarkets are just in walking distance. We stayed in the economy double room from Dec 21 to Dec 25, which was clean and comfortable for two people. The kitchen was fully equipped with an induction oven. It was easy to go to the neighborhood supermarket to shop groceries and food stuffs and bring back to cook. The bathroom was clean coming with a hot tub and the water steam was hot and powerful. The parking lot is spacious, easy for an SUV to get in. JR Koza is a station where local and express trains both stop here. It is easy to get on a train from here to either Kii-Tanabe or to Shingu to enjoy the entire Kii peninsula. When we stayed here, we took JR and bus to get to Kumano Koto for the trails to Hayatama Taisha and Nachi Taisha.
