My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Tiny House! It had everything we needed--a surprisingly large bed, pots and pans to cook, a nice shower--all neatly organized in a very small space. It was also extremely clean. We rented it to see the Katakai fireworks, and it was perfectly located for this. We also saw Sumo at the festival, a "bull sumo" competition, and the koi museum. It is close-ish (45 minutes or so) to the Echigo-Tsumari art field as well, which was really cool.

Only a 1-minute walk from JR Nagaoka Train Station, Hotel Hokke Club Niigata Nagaoka offers modern accommodations with free WiFi and a private bathroom. You can soothe in the spacious public bath.

Excellent location, helpful terrific service in the reception area. Delightful breakfast. Onsen is well maintained. Enjoyed our stay.

The owners were very friendly and nice, being from Singapore we were not used to the intensity of coldness in Nagaoka, and they brought for us an Aladdin heater. The place is clean, there were toys and books for my kids, the beds were very comfortable and we can find everything we need in the apartment.

Quiet, relaxing, very spacious, cooler weather, nice location, staff member very kind and accommodating. He had to teach us how to use the toaster/microwave thing. Kitchen was nice to be able to make breakfast. We had the house to ourselves, not sure if others were supposed to stay there too or not.

The room was very comfortable.
