We had the best time at the house! It was beautifully and thoughtful decorated and had the prettiest Japanese Garden one could only imagine. Also the owner was extremely kind and welcomed us super warmly. Also she gave us a long list with recommendations so we could enjoy the stunning surrounding nature, culture and food. I really want to come back and can totally recommend a stay! :)

Such a cozy & welcoming space with tons of little touches! The guest house staff were lovely and made sure I knew where to find everything. They had a really nice common area with tea, snacks, miso soup for free as well as snacks & cups of noodle soup to buy and a nice little kitchen that everyone could use. The rooms are small but clean, well equipped and contain everything you need. I also really appreciated that they had a locker outside to use for free for pilgrims hiking up to temple 88 - such a kind gesture and perfect for those like me who needed somewhere to leave their large backpacks while making the steep climb up to 88.

I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is in walking distance to the 85th temple, as well as artist Isamu Naguchi’s former studio/Museum. The room and public area are all very very clean. I enjoyed the hot bath enormously after a long day. The owner of the hotel is super friendly who really takes care of the guest‘s comfort and safely. I borrowed the electrical bike from the host to cycle along the coastlines. It was the best way to explore local areas,

We travelled to Takamatsu with a big group of friends (6-7 people), and were so happy to find this apartment. The owner was really nice and accommodating, especially about our request to add another person to the reservation later on - thank you! The house is rather simple, but very charming and well-equipped - we found everything we needed, and it was very comfortable. The location is very close to the next train station, but a bit farther from the center, so keep that in mind when planning. There is a ramen restaurant and combini in walking distance as well. Thank you for a great stay! 😊
