Privacy, large room and washroom for Japan standards, and surprisingly delicious breakfast. Staff was accommodating when one issue occurred.

Comfortable, close to a subway station, had tons of food options within ten minutes, staff was very helpful.

Such an amazing and beautiful hotel! In fact it’s the best hotel we have stayed at in Japan having visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara and Osaka. Our room was really big compared to most hotels we’ve been to in Japan. It even has its own balcony! The hotel has a rooftop bar too which is a nice touch.

Location was awesome - close to trains, shopping, convenient to sightseeing. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful (though a bit more variety from day to day would be better). Would stay here again for my visit to Kyoto.

Public Onsen, close to Kyoto Station, Clean room & Good Service

I don’t remember how many times I stayed in this hotel, everything’s perfect.

Service was impeccable. Very friendly and helpful staff The public bath was a unique experience. Definitely a plus point Room was larger than expected and the amenities brilliant. Evening cocktails was a bonus. Would highly recommend.

This rental house felt just like home! We had the entire house to ourselves, and our daughter really enjoyed the toys and books that were in the house. There is a huge collection of toys, board games, and Japanese children's books, including picture books and manga. Very comfortable and felt like we were right at home. Clean, well kept, with plenty of utensils, and clear instructions (in both Japanese and English) posted everywhere on how to operate electrical appliances and heaters.

The owner, she's the best. Her kindness and hospitality was exceptional. The location and facility were excellent.

House is traditional Japanese style house and owner is super friendly and very helpful

I have never stayed in a shared facility place but the owner made it totally flawless. Great ambiance, super clean, I really loved the neighborhood, I will comeback next years. Closed by to everything and a few mins from Kyoto station in train. Just amazing. Thank you for everything. His doggie is so adorable.

I love the area! It's so quiet and within walking distance from anything you need. City bus is close by or you can use Go Taxi. The canal and the sake museums are within 15 min walk. Such a beautiful area. The house was very clean and really had a charming feel to it. Very 'slice of life' and authentic Kyoto!
