Family run guesthouse. Great folks. My friend wasn't feeling well and had purchased the wrong medicine at the local pharmacy. The proprietor drove me back into town to receive the proper medicine. This was unexpected and very kind.

The wife’s favourite stay in Sri Lanka, heavenly views high up and at one with nature. Nice vibe around the area at night. Staff were great and the breakfast location was stunning and you can see the train high in the hillside opposite.

Our stay at Mistara Ella in Ella, Sri Lanka was truly exceptional. It was a brand new hotel and the views are absolutely breathtaking and the pool is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The property has a very peaceful and special atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. What made the stay even more memorable was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. A special thank you to the owner, Mr. Tharaka, whose hospitality and friendliness made us feel right at home. If you are visiting Ella, I highly recommend staying at Mistara Ella. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely love to come back.

Extremely clean rooms, big comfortable beds, and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast! But best of all was our wonderful host family who went above and beyond for our comfort and happiness.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is very convenient and close to Ella town. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Comfortable stay with good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the new management is doing a great job improving the place. However, the bathroom was quite small, and the room gets very hot in the morning due to the sunrise, especially without air conditioning. Overall, still a pleasant experience.

Our host was so lovely and accommodating! Food was fantastic, and the cabin was super cute. We have a lot of dietary restrictions, but the host made us the most delicious spreads for breakfast and dinner. Even tried to get fresh fish for us from the market! Would have loved to stay longer!

Great for a family with yard space/badmitton and great for morning coffee or evening beer. Comfortable beds/bedding. Friendly family runs it!

The room was clean and tidy. We loved the shower which was warm and full. The property has outstanding views over the paddy fields. The host family was very welcoming and friendly, they took care of us same as their family. The breakfast couldn't finished although it was delicious with string hoppers, toasts, juices, Omlets etc. Bed was very spaceous and linens were comfortable, while the room had everything it should have. Towels, toilet papers, tissues,toothbrush etc The ella city was bit away from the property location but it wasn't a problem at all as host took care about providing their tuktuk for us on reasonable prices lower than other tuktuks in Ella city. Overall this was a one of the best accomodations I ever had in Sri Lanka.

It’s super clean! The family is really kind and considerate. We felt right at home staying there. They helped us with ordering food and tuk tuk for the evening.

Everything was perfect at Nine glow resort. Large rooms and so comfortable beds. Owner was really helpful and local cuisine was so tasty and mouthwatering.

It was very clean and good, WiFi was good and having tv an added advantage. The owner son is very helpful. It’s just 2 kms away from the main happening spot, but it’s very good place.
