Cheap hotels in Valletta

Loved the room and the amenities in the hotel. The room is huge and beautiful, better than I expected. Very comfortable bed, balcony with a hot tub, full gym, spa, and right on the promenade.

We had a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony - a very nice surprise. The room was clean, bathroom clean, provided bathrobes and slippers. Very nice and clean as a whole, even the elevators were cleaned regularly. Pool on the terrace and pool on the ground floor heated and clean. Spa services very nice with very accomodating personnel.

Location was excellent and we loved the pool area. Highly recommend for a longer stay or a quick trip.

Location , friendly staffs ,cleanliness

Very convenient location between Gzira and Sliema. Lots of restaurants, eateries and various shops nearby. Bus stop right in front of the building. Easy to get from/to the airport by bus. Five minutes walk to the ferry from Sliema to Valletta. The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable, with everything needed. I booked one-bedroom apartment, but got a two-bedroom one with a balcony and a view of the sea and Valletta. There were two ACs, a large refrigerator, a microwave, a stove, an electric kettle, a washing machine and even a toaster, from which I borrowed an adapter for EU plug (in Malta power sockets are G-type, not C/F as many other places in Europe). The pressure in shower was boosted artificially, but water is a common problem in Malta, so at least they tried to improve the efficiency. Check out at 5AM was easy and the receptionist Karl was friendly and polite.

I loved the hotel. It looked new and well kept. Rooms are spacious and clean with a very modern shower. The included buffet breakfast was awesome…plenty of different foods and drinks in a very comfortable dining room, also very spacious. The staff working the breakfast are incredibly welcoming and attentive while not expecting to be tipped (I tipped a couple of euros every day, if you tip like in the US they might get offended) The concierge, forgot her name, but this nice Italian accent lady, helped us book a trip to the blue lagoon in no time (I had been unsuccessful booking them, they were all sold out) and gave us a great location to watch the sunset on the west coast of Malta. I loved the hotel, the staff, the location and the Country!! Highly recommend to everyone but for families it is awesome. There’s a pool club called Aqualuna that is super nice as well!! It is across the street from the hotel and the pool is shared by 3 hotels. There are amazing staff but it gets crowded fast, so go early. My son, 11, had a blast in the pool for a couple of hours while me an my wife enjoyed some appetizers on a table right on the water, on the bay with the citadel fort on the other side of the bay!! I don’t write reviews… I really don’t, only if my experience is terrible or great!! This place deserves a great review!! Not one single person was mean to us! The price from restaurants to hotels is great as well. My family and I had a great time and the memories of Malta will be with us forever… Thank you Azur Hotel for making our stay in your lovely country a great one!! Ohhh… one more thing… I don’t work for this hotel..I work for the County of San Diego in California (I always wonder when I read great review haha) Hope you enjoy the place like we did. Very nice and cozy place. Our room was perfectly clean and cleaned throughout our stay. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great.

It is a good value of money. Hotel has a nice location. Room was clean and super comfortable. The staff was nice and welcoming.

The location is just amazing. Yes it's a bit noisy at night, but it's so worth it to be so central right near to the supermarket, bars, restaurants, the Gozo high speed ferry etc. Just bring some earplugs! We couldn't fault the value for money and we truly think we'll return one day!

Such an interesting property. It was right in a perfect area of Valletta to see everything. The rooftop patio is a hidden gem. I even proposed to my now fiancé there.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect – close to everything we needed, yet quiet and peaceful. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly from the beginning, and they were always available for any questions we had. Really beautiful Maltese house in the center of Valletta. We loved the location as it was quiet and somehow secluded but 2 min walk from the main streets / restaurants / bars. Thank you Maria for allowing us a flexible check out too! We will surely be back :)
